We were here with friends for breakfast. Two off us had scrambled eggs and toast and two of us had omelets. The scrambled eggs and toast were so-so but the omelets were excellent, nice and fluffy as promised and they came with a nice side of hash browns and toast. I asked for my toast dry but it came buttered. Otherwise the service was satisfactory but there's not much ambiance. It's a small diner type place with a lot of annoying, clattering noise from the kitchen.

We drive by this spot quite often and decided to give it a try for breakfast, it was very busy on a Friday morning. But found a table in the back room, by the back door. Not a good place to sit on a cold day. Our order was taken by our waitress, she said we could substitute a fruit cup for hash browns....great ....she failed to mention it was a $2+ up charge...problem #1. Two of us ordered "dry" toast, that did not happen...both orders all buttered up, problem #2. We never had the order taker come by again and we asked one of of the runners for more syrup for a waffle order, we only got the syrup when a second runner came by, requested syrup again, and finally got it, problem #3. I have to say the omelettes were very good, nice and fluffy. The waffle eater indicated it was okay, but good. When you are only open for breakfast and lunch seems to me you would want to have exceptional service, our other favorite breakfast places are outstanding on their service. I am really not sure about going back here, it is a longer drive for us and we found it a bit of a disappointing meal, the food did not overcome the marginal service.

Having visited previously (a long time ago), I was disappointed by our visit on Saturday morning. There’s a small parking lot out back and some parking bays in front of the restaurant. One step up onto the pavement to get into the restaurant, otherwise it’s all flat flooring inside and to the 2 bathrooms. We timed it just right and got sat in a booth at the far end of the restaurant, on the kitchen side. We started to get quite cold and realised we were sitting under a vent that was pushing out cold air. There was anywhere else to move to so we toughed it out, with my husband moving to the least draughty spot on his side of the booth and me putting my coat over my legs. We did not our server had a beanie hat on the whole time we were there. We mentioned it as we left and we’re told the heating was on! Anyhow, my husband ordered coffee & I had hot tea. Our server brought over a nice selection of teas to choose from. We both ordered omelettes, with hash & toast. The hash was well cooked but was quite oily/buttery and left a lot of grease on the plate. My omelette was a little tasteless and again was quite greasy. I didn’t finish it as I was starting to feel like I’d eaten too much grease. Once we left, all I could smell was a cooking/fried food smell, which had gotten into my hair and clothes whilst we were in the restaurant. Really disappointed with our experience on this occasion.

Just moved to Northville, and was worried everything was either going to be a large chain, or a boutique restaurant experience that's super pricey. This is neither. Its a small unassuming place, like a diner. Menu is simple, nothing fancy. Several omelet options, a few specialty items, and waffles of course. Prices were good, and the portions decent. The food was excellent and the service exceptional. Found my new favorite breakfast place.

Been trying to check this place out for a long time now. Finally got the chance this past weekend. I tried their BLT omelette. It was super good and the omelette was nice and fluffy. I also tried their strawberry and chocolate crepe. It was good, but not as good as others I've had in the past. The previous reviews that stated small portions for the hashbrowns were correct. This was the smallest amount of hashbrowns I've ever received with a meal. They were good and I was hoping for more, but that wasn't the case. Their menu has a lot tasty sounding dishes and we love breakfast so we'll definitely try it again at some point.

I was hesitant after seeing some poor reviews but I went twice lately with a Groupon deal. I found it a great place to get a quick breakfast. I had an omelette once and crepes another time. Both were excellent and I found the staff to be very friendly! I will return!

Friendly, but slow service. Toast burnt. Eggs were indeed fluffy (their motto), rest of my dish was fine. Seated in side room that desperately needs renovation. Table sticky. A fly and three fruit flies constantly buzzed around us and landed on us. I probably would not return.

Tried twice since new owners took over (never tried with old owners). First visit I ordered corned beef hash - it was a small amount of hashbrowns with about 1 tablespoon of small corned beef cubes on top - sourdough toast that was not toasted. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito - was good but that's all that was on the plate. Not filling. Second visit I ordered a Greek omelette. The eggs were the consistency of cake but tasted good, miniscule amount of Gyro meat. This time I ordered white toast, it was burnt. Small amount of hash browns. $9.50. As we left, I noticed that 2 other booths food was burnt. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy. Menu said 4 biscuits, it came with three. When we questioned it, the cook came out from the back with a plate containing 1 biscuit cut into 4 pieces and 1 whole biscuit. Didn't quite understand what he was getting at. He left the whole biscuit at the table but there wasn't any gravy on it. He came back to the table. My husband said, can you please take the biscuit back and bring some gravy. Misunderstanding - he brought back a small dish of gravy without the biscuit. My husband's fault. The prices are way too high for what you get. I understand that the new owners just took over but they really need to do something about the menu, prices and quality of food. Also, the 2nd or 3rd booth seat needs to be replaced. This is nothing like the Omelette & Waffle Cafe in downtown Plymouth.

The food is So awesome here that there will always be a wait for a table on a nice day! It is bustling with energy - people eating and having a great time! The wait is well worth it - and tables clear up fast - it’s never as long as they say, just 10-20 even ok most busy days. You have to try the pancakes! Orange juice is freshly squeezed and can get pricey...

Although the restaurant was quite small, the service was still prompt. We did not feel as though we waited very long. Eating in meant you have to get your own beverages, however when it is crowded that makes it uncomfortable to walk around other customers eating. Other than that it still was a unique pleasant experience the food was good and we enjoyed the experience.

This place is an attractive small, cozy diner type restaurant. My wife and I were here on a weekday at lunch time. She had the mixed berry crepes which were excellent. I had the Reuben grill sandwich which was only fair - it was a bit on the skimpy side and seemed to have some odd liquid cheese in it. I think in the future we'll stick to the breakfast items which looked very good. The prices seemed reasonable and the service was good and cheerful.

It is a popular place on Saturday and Sunday. People line up and take numbers to get seated in order. The omelets are delicious. Ham and cheese was my favorite. Coffee refills are shared with guests regularly. Do know that the water at the 7 Mile is well water and has a taste.
