We stopped in here at about 1 pm (they close at 2) and had breakfast. They offer both egg whites and egg beaters as substitutes. My husband had an omelette and I had scrambled eggs. Both portions were large and tasted good.

We had lunch there fried perch for me and breaded tenderloin for my husband. The fish didn't have much flavor, my husbands tenderloin was dry and fries weren't good. We thought the menu for breakfast sounded good so gave them another chance the next morning for breakfast. Wasn't impressed.

If you enjoy an old school diner experience... this is your place. I love a good diner breakfast and Rosie's does not disappoint. Cash only... but the prices are consistent with small town diner breakfast, so it won't break the bank.

Everything was made from scratch. This is not five star food, but a hearty mom and pop place. Between the two of us, we consumed: two eggs over medium (ok), sausage patties (ok), bacon (ok), American fried potatoes (ok, but could've been crispier), biscuit (too dry, not flaky--don't order on the side like we did...probably fine with gravy), malted waffle... Very good service, prompt and courteous. Excellent food, I had the waffle, egg and bacon special, my wife had the Chicago omelette (with everything in it.), Hash browns are the best. Coffee was a little weak.

We decided to have a breakfast brunch, so we headed uptown to Rosie's. It is a cash establishment, so remember to pack some. I had the Hungry Jack plate, filled with veggies, potatoes, eggs, and sausage. My wife had corned beef hash and eggs. Good service during a busy morning. My waitress kept my coffee cup filled.

We ate here with my husband's family because it was their aunt's favorite place to eat. You know how things from your youth revisited now are usually much smaller, not as exciting and often disappointing? This restaurant fell into that category. I will say that some of the other breakfasts at our table looked better than mine (like my husband's... More

We have eaten here for 6 summers. Service is super fast and accurate, and the food is very good. It is cash only, so you have to plan ahead

Went for lunch. I had the turkey club - bacon burnt to black, so I didn't eat the bacon. Otherwise good sandwich, but it is a turkey club, so I it would be hard to mess that up. My friend had the open faced turkey sandwich with gravy. Hardly any turkey on it, mashed potatoes not home made. Overall, just... More
