May well be the best place in New Buffalo. Jenny is from Chicago and does an Asian Fusion type menu plus brunch. Don't miss the egg foo yong sandwich, it is out of this world. Haven't had a bad meal here.

Kite's Kitchen is closed and so is the grateful diner that all were at this same location. Jackie's Cafe opened at this location in May of 2014 for Breakfast and Lunch and is really wonderful. Look at the reviews for Jackie's and give it a try. We enjoy it there.

Do the eggs benedict and smile. The eggs are fresh, the ham fork tender and the hollidase is the silkiest and tastiest I have ever had (and I get around). Be certain to go to bakery and food store in the rear of the building for goodness to warm a foodies heart. The homemade granola is addictive. There are frozen... More

At first we weren't sure if this place was open. The last review was a year old. But we heard good things and checked it out. First of all, look for Retro Cafe, not Kite's Kitchen. The Kitchen is a take out bakery/shop, the Cafe is the sit down restaurant. You'll see the Retro Cafe car driving about town if... More

Please note that the larger sign in front says "Retro Cafe", they said they are getting a new sign soon but it is easy to miss the smaller "Kites Kitchen" sign on the side of the building and you would not want to miss the breakfast. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful and the staff handled our large party (20 people)... More

The quality, freshness and flavor of the food is great. The organic eggs, great bacon, home made whole grain bread and special flavor combinations for skillets/omlets etc. are so much better than standard breakfast fare. And the sticky buns are just wonderful!

Not recommended. The food was cold, as was the service.

We found it difficult to find a good breakfast place in New Buffalo. We tried Kites after we found it on Trip Advisor. What a find! Friendly staff and a great breakfast and lunch menu. All the food was organic, everything is home made and full of flavor. Great coffee also. It has a deli/bakery attached if you need some... More

I had a great breakfast recently at Kite's Kitchen on a weekend trip to New Buffalo. They use fresh and many organic ingredients and provide real quality offerings. I had a spinach quiche with fresh-baked muffins that was excellent. There is also a good children's menu. The outdoor patio is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal and the owner... More
