Very disappointing and surprised by how poor the service was from previous reviews - perhaps it was a bad way, but would not recommend or return based on our visit. Service was slow and not at all friendly, despite their claims to the contrary. Chowder...More

I don’t give many 5’s. This joint is great. The smoke whitefish pate is a must. Great pastie and perch. Good service and they have UP souvenirs and wine to buy. Just a very good family restaurant.

Honestly, I can only comment on the pasties. It's why we stopped here. Didn't even look at the rest of the menu. The pasties were excellent. Large, delicious, very good crust and generous fillings. Side of slaw was also very good, creamy and fresh. We...More

Stopped on way to Keweenaw after seeing good reviews & I agree. White fish dinner was excellent. I had fried & wife had grilled which she also loved. Would definitely stop again.

Stopped on a Friday night for their fish fry. We had a perch dinner and a white fish dinner we shared. Fish was good. Sweet potatoes fries and mashed potatoes on the side were delicious. Salad bar was fresh. Restaurant was clean.

There is a big stone place in dining area and a bar. It’s across the road from the lake so there’s plenty of fresh white fish items to try. We just had Bloody Mary ( with beef stick, olive, pickle), beer, white fish sandwich and...More

My first experience eating a pasty was definitely a positive one. They are also known for their whitefish. The whitefish chowder was delicious as well as whitefish sandwich and the smoked whitefish pate'. The portions are large so come with an appetite. There is a...More

Great place to stop off of the trail for a meal. Snowmobile trail ends in the parking lot. The whitefish chowder was awesome. Also, had the pasty was very tasty.
