There are not a great number of good restaurants close to Najac but this is definitely one of them so worth the drive. Have eaten dinner here several times over the last few months & each time is had been excellent.Good well priced menus & a very extensive wine list.Overall delicious food, nice setting & very good service.Would recommend sitting in... We come here three or four times a year when we are in the region. In off season months you'll be sharing the restaurant with the locals (always a good sign) and with a mix of locals and tourists in the busier months. On this occasion there were six of us for an early evening dinner and this time we... More

Our 'local' - we were able to walk from our gite (and therefore drink) for our wedding anniversary dinner - chose the menu amical - four courses - crab starters, steak/ fish/ brie with rhubarb/ chocolate delights. Sat outside on the terrace but finished inside for coffee. Friendly owners, nice atmosphere.

Lunchtimes here tend to cater towards the local workforce, and whilst the atmosphere is pleasant and animated the lunchtime menu can be a little dull although still very good value for money. 5 courses of sometimes unimaginative for about €14 including the wine. Obviously the lunchtime menu is working to a set price and therefore some of the mains and... More

We went lunch twice recently and the menu du jour is amazing value for money. You get five courses including potage, entree, main course, fromage and dessert. Also included is 25cl of wine each. What's more it is all locally sourced and beautifully presented. Rustic food for €14. It can't be beaten. Not eaten here in the evening but definitely... More

We went here for lunch and took the set menu at 13€50 each for five courses plus 25cl of wine per person. You don't have a choice of food but we were very pleased with what we received. There is an à la carte menu but we didn't think it worth it having seen the price of the set menu.... More

We have been to this lovely restaurant three times and each time we have been greeted by the owners as we have arrived. There is terrace dining and also an elegant interior dining room. The food each time has been magnificent and the service is friendly and efficient. There is also a little shop which sells local cheeses, sausages, cut... More

Last here three years ago and still great. We ate from the multi course menu with 5 courses. One has a choice of dinners from 22 to 35 euros drinks not included. The salads were outstanding with whitefish and fresh greens. The beef was tasty and local grass fed but not very tender. The cheese plate was a sampling of... More

The restaurant was packed when we arrived for a Saturday lunch. It looked very much like a local French clientele who know good food and excellent value. Our table near the working fireplace was cosy--but in general the interior is fairly utilitarian. A family-run auberge (increasingly rare in France) who source their food locally and cook it from scratch on... More
