Having arrived at the Site des Megalithes and found it closed till 2 pm we had 90 minutes to kill. Lunch was a good option but not wanting to overspend we looked for a cafe style place. Coming across Le Vahine was ideal.
We ate here a few times while in the area. The lunch menu of the plat du jour with wine and coffee was excellent value for a prime coastal location and the service was also very good. The salads and oysters are also highly recommended.
We had lunch here during the very popular oyster festival. The dish of the day was crevettes grilled with rice and ratatouille. Sounds simple, and it was but with a lovely twist of spices.

Pleasant creperie overlooking the bay on the quayside of this small fishing village., with eating areas on a deck at front, in sheltered garden at the rear as well as two floors inside, staff friendly and attentive . Service and food good.
La Vahine is a small creperie with limited outdoor seating in front with a great view of the harbour and some more outdoor seating in the inner courtyard behind the restaurant, which gives you some shelter from the wind.
