It's ok, they try. Good will, helpful, kind but well the standard of the cooking is just a little below par. Unfortunate as fish places here are few and far between.

Summer evening sitting at an outside table with friends reviewing the day's exploring... The fish soup was delicious, the shared seafood platter shared between 3 included langoustines, oysters, prawns and bulots (large sea snails). It's worth asking what's in a dish no matter how poor one's French is, and it's also good to try new things. The grilled 'Bar' is... More

Our 13 and 10 year olds had the enfant set menu of fish fillet/crumbed and ice cream; while we had two courses of soup poisson; prawns; and sardines for mains. The food was delicious. Our only disappointment was the service: we asked for another bottle of table water, which never came; and the service was not fast: we almost missed... More

Le Cro Marin prepares a whole fish, grilled, which is superb...not easy to find on menus elsewhere. Menu includes a large selection of fresh shellfish. The restaurant's fish store is adjacent. Moderate prices. Desserts are great as well..Seating outdoors & indoors but small place so recommend to reserve

I spotted this restaurant on the crowded market day, noticing that it served only seafood and was attached to a fishmonger, and we decided to go for lunch later in the week. The meal was excellent from start to finish. My wife had a plate of oysters and seafood aoili, and I had soupe de poisson and grilled whole bar.... More

A small friendly restaurant with a first class chef, superb produce, wonderful combinations, warm and friendly service....... We have been twice but shall return time and again. The first time we had moules frites and the cafe gourmand, yesterday we had two courses from Le Menu, the entree of whitebait, the main was Moules Campagnarde- the most exquisite and delicious... A combination of fishmonger and fish restaurant Le Cro Marin serves a broad menu of absolutely fresh seafood and fish. The moules and frites are to die for and if you are really hungry the seafood platter is fabulous. Bought oysters from the fishmonger at Christmas and they were the best I've ever eaten - much better than even SF... More

Following recommendations of many others on TA, we went for dinner last week, and even thoughit was out of season, I'm glad we booked a table as there's only 6 and they quickly filled. Well prepared fish, and shell fish, and although we dont usually eat fries ( potato wedges really), we loved the ones prepared there. Crispy, brown and... More

It is located just in the center of the town, the food is really good, and fresh, they own the fish store next door. The prices are very reasonable. And the ambience is just excellent.

Large menu of seafood, reasonably priced. One of those hidden gem type restaurants. I had Moules marinee 11E with frites, both perfectly prepared and tasty. Husband had grilled fish and a salad, also excellent. The amuse-bouche was a dish of cooked snails served cold! Friendly, helpful servers.
