In these days of social media and TripAdviser especially, this performance just does not work! This is a very good restaurant with some good folks in the kitchen messed up by a proprietor who hasn't figured out that one waiter cannot look after an entire restaurant. OK it's Sunday night but this restaurant is one of the few places open... More

Everything was nice in this place. For a quite reasonable price we have a full menu diner with fresh products, good wine and very good service.

Good outing at Le Carma in Blaye along the banks of the Gironde estuary, but hidden away in Blaye, off the main street. Had the Huitres, Saint Jacques Poelee, and a great Dorade with a excellent local Cuvee Armande. Very good cuisine and service. Super evening

Missed the ferry across the river so decided to have lunch in Blaye. Lots of lovely, busy little restaurants in Blaye and all were busy. Pleased we picked this one. We all (4) had the set menu which was excellent - limited choice which was good. Had a carafe of their house wine - also good. Waiting staff were lovely... More

Weather wise, sun and cloud, not the best of days for a visit to Blaye or was it ?. Not a great many people about, several restaurants to choose from, quite a few empty and a couple that were reasonably busy including Le Carma, we chose to sit out-side, going off the Chef's board we thoroughly enjoyed a three course... Found this charming little restaurant for lunch as we passed through Blaye en Route to St George de Didonne. Just had a light lunch of Crabe Crumble and salmon wrapped in Sole with a carafe of light white wine but it was perfectly cooked and cheerily served. No tourists in sight! Will return!

Taken to this restaurant on a very hot day by friends. Not the loveliest situation but staff friendly and we enjoyed a reasonably priced set lunch at 16€. Cotes de Blaye wines by the carafe very enjoyable. My main course of a duo of Salmon and Swordfish was light and savoury with a strange orange disc which might have been... More

We ate here on the 14 July - so a very busy night. We hadn't booked but they found us a table for later. There was a choice of a 14 July menu or a la carte. We chose the 14 July and had a delicious 3 course meal for a very reasonable price. Salad, followed by lovely sword fish... More
