Exceptionally friendly service, beautiful regional old winery decor making you feel at ease from the moment you step in and just perfectly delicious dishes. The salmon and spaetzle combination is by the way worth a try! Plus: great local wines!

We were able to sit at one of the outside tables where we had the tarte flambee and beef carpaccio with the house reisling. Food was delicious and great service, highly recommendable!

Arriving tired and hungry at first evening in the year, the menue was a bit smaller than usual. We got a table without reservation at 18.30 and the place filled up quite fast with local guys. We got nice traditional food, wine and friendly service!...More

Really poor service. The staff was nice but gave the tables containing French or locals insect candles while the tourist had to endure with a plethora of flies. Furthermore the days special (supposedly cocked medium) was inedibly cooked. But the atmosphere was nice.

Despite the Christmas market the restaurant was fairly empty on the evening we dined there. The rustic interior is fairly typical of caveau type restaurants and was nicely decorated with xmas baubles and so forth. Worth trying as an aperitif is the cremant de pain...More

The restaurant is nice and cozy and lies in the old city of Turckheim. The restaurant has many dishes with sauerkraut on the menu, which we had to try as it is one of the local dishes. The suaerkraut with pigknuckles was delicious and the...More
