Average food, owner with bad behavior. We went to this restaurant, in the middle of nowhere, with the hope of good food&wine experience. Instead, we found a greasy owner looking like a drunk nervous person (Roki) yelling at us because we dare to comment about...the awful squid peka (that replaced octopus peka). We found hair in one of the plates and the waiter said that is not hers :)))) . Was kind of funny ….Too much worry about the quantity ordered, waiter insisting in ordering more….why? We know how much we eat, why to order more? Don’t loose time with this restaurant. Maybe in the past had a good image but our night was ruined. The funny think is that the owner actually argued in a rude manner with the people that promoted his restaurant to us, our guide and skipper. Roki ended his yelling at us, with all the other customers looking, in a dramatically way: I rest my case. This poor fella has nothing to do with client orientation and customer satisfaction. Fish pasta cream on the Fish plate appetizer was good. Not enough to stop me to write this review. We took the rest of squid to use it for fishing bite but didn’t worked :)))))More

My friends and I visited Rokis in August 2021. We were kindly welcomed by the People working there, eceryone was smiling, polite and kind. Their tour guide took us in part of the house where the wine is made and explained us everything. We went...wine tasting - Bugava authentic Vis's wine and dalmatian Maraština, and Plavac mali. Everything there is apsolutely local and made on their land. We ate Komiška pogača, authentic pastry as well. We had the best time ever! The atmosphere is great, the house is beautiful, wine and food are delicious, I could not reccomend Rokis more! Their staff is so kind and smiling and nice, specially the tour guide :)More

I went to Roki's with my friends in August 2021. We had the best time ever! Firstly we went to see their famous wine in the making, Bugava, an the lovely tour guide told us everything we wanted to know. And we didnt hesitate to...ask millo questions. After that we went on a wine degustation of Bugava, Maraština and Plavac mali, and we ate famous Komiška pogača. Everyone working there was very kind, polite, positive and nice. The food was great and the wine even better. I highy reccomend Rokis for spending a good time :)More

Me and my friends visited Roki's last weekend and were just amazed with the great wine Bugava, traditional food and authentic atmosphere in the middle of vineyards of Plisko polje. Also, our tour guide Ciprijan was so interesting and knowledgeable! We are coming back, for...sure :)More

Lunch at Roki’s was perfect. We ate Vis bread for appetizer and fish under the baking lid. The food was perfect and the portions were also in line with the price. The staff is very helpful and we can’t wait for the next opportunity to...visit this beautiful place.More

Excellent, excellent food. Polite staff and great ambient. A definite must when on Vis. We were seriously considering dining there every night and we will definitely be coming back. Not to forget, prices are more then decent considering what you get.

Just say YES to everything your waiter suggested, seriously! If you arrive in the middle of the summer season, then obviously you need to make a reservation a few days ahead. You'll also confirm the reservation in the morning so they are able to prepare...your meal in time (they need about 2 hours to prepare the peka). We've ordered lamb which was superb. One of the best lamb dishes I've eaten in my life, and I eat this type of food regularly. When we arrived immediately we felt a warm welcome from the staff, which is guiding you through their wine cellar and your table. They produce their own wine which is authentic for Vis island. The surrounding is outside, between old walls decorated with nice paintings and lights on a big tree which creates a nice shade from the sun.More

A calm family restaurant perfect for a lunch with its shady terrasse among the wine yards. The lamb peka was succulent, the lamb itself was tender and melting, the potatoes reminded me of my grandma’s. Overall, a simple well mastered dish. Consider booking and ordering...in advance the type of peka you wish to taste.More
