large restaurant, keeps music (and music videos on a screen) blaring to degree you must shout to have a conversation. Several of more interesting items on menu but not available....the trouble was on 2 subsequent occasions (same meal) we ordered and were told not available after 10 minutes...so 20-30 minutes in we finally got our order in and got appetizers... Taquezal has a very good atmosphere and the staffs are friendly and polite. They have both vegan and vegetarian friendly options, and the food is good. Not wow, but definitey worth a revisit.

We stopped here for lunch and ordered tostones and drinks. The tostones were yummy, but caution the hot sauce is very spicy! Overall a pretty decent place.

We were here last year when we visited, so we thought we'd stop in for an afternoon snack. We had the tostones con queso, and a shrimp dish. Both were delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. The service was courteous and pleasant. Although I have never been here at night, I understand that there are some lively Karaoke nights! We... More

Awesome food, great atmosphere. See bass with garlic and it was incredible, as was the ceviche! We had the jugo del día, pineapple, the best I've had in León so far!

The title is true. I've traveled all over South America and this place contained a wonderful surprise. The best ceviche I've had in all south america. There were a couple places that had some great ceviche but there's was superb. The service was friendly, the costs were incredibly reasonable and the ambiance is beautiful. Try and get a table in... I guess you should really pay attention when you're the only guests at a restaurant-- there's probably a reason for it. The restaurant is very cute and the service was good. The food however, was not great. Neither of us enjoyed our meals. It's in a great location and good for people watching. The negative here is that street hustlers/peddlers... More

There are good and average places to eat in Leon. Taquezal is not one of them. It is a poorly run, with little effort at pleasing dinners. We were five in the group. The burgers were mostly bread -- stale bread. The burger meat was flavorless and clearly had been thawed. The chicken in the chicken burger was thin and... More

Bilding looks good , staff is frendly but the music is way to loud and the half naked ladies in the videoclips are getting to much attantion allthough you dont want to look you cant escape it. Prices of the drinks are fair and the have much to choose. Hamburgers oke, brownie dryed out.
