Food very good. Pork, hamburger, fish. Priced OK. Watch waiters. Will say service not included when it clearly on bill.

Seven of us went here for dinner on a Monday night. Lovely sitting and looking out on the square! They served us marvelous fruit drinks - I had pineapple juice that was large and fantastic! Three of us ordered filete de pescado which was very good, served with choices of french fries, rice, etc. I ordered vegetables and they were... More

We loved having dinner or drinks here! Food: mainly local cuisine, I had the pork tamales and my daughter had the tacos. The food comes in large portions and is well flavored and authentic. The prices are cheap. We thought the food was good. Ambiance: an open air restaurant right on the main square with all the entertainment and fun... More

Slow service, stopped for some drinks and sat outside for the sunset. Beautiful views of the sun on the cathedral. The service was terrible, all of the staff were too busy inside moving tables around or all grouping at the bar to have a laugh. The guy in front of us waited for 20 minutes for a menu. We gave... We stopped in here twice. Both times service was good and the food was very good. Nicely shaded to watch the street life going on in the central square.

We passed this place over and over again, it is located on the edge of the main square across from the Cathedral. It was always packed and yet I resisted. It is a tourist trap because of its location. The service was good but I thought the food was average. There isn't anything intriguing about it. It had a very... More

Ok food, but a bit overpriced for what you get. The best part of this restaurant is its location on the main square - great place for a few happy hour beers and people watching

Description
Right at the heart of this intellectual and humid city is located “El Sesteo” a nice setting with a nice view and a unique decoration. The food is nice has a good variety of things, Local food, Mexican, Sea food (ocean is only 20min away) and international cuisine, Service is pretty good and all of the walls are decorated with the local dance, folklore and most important people of Leon one of them Ruben Dario Father of the modernism and prince of the Spanish language. They are open for lunch and dinner and probably have the best view of any restaurant in Leon, have a nice breeze that run through the place and a nice view to the street which you can see the locals walking around the main square.Go and enjoy this place and give a try to local own places.
