The three ladies who run this place are the sweetest! I ordered a garden salad with turkey and my husband had a cup of potato soup (homemade) and a grilled cheese. They have good coffee and ice cream too. We definitely will come back! Charming.

My husband and I moseyed in for lunch and a cinnamon roll and wound up spending a cozy two hours reading and enjoying the ambiance. The generous bowl of tortilla soup was delicious and my hubby enjoyed a warm cinnamon roll and delicious cup of...coffee. Being surrounded by books new and seasoned was akin to being hugged by old friends. I am soooo excited to read the two books purchased which revolve around Upper Peninsula tradition! Highly recommend you experience this quaint and special spot.More

Cute little shop offers soup and sandwiches and you can sit and look at books. Has books by local authors. If you like bookstores I recommend this one!

Great breakfast sandwiches! Fresh, quick and nice lounging area with books to chill and eat. Went two days in a row for lattes.

We stopped here for breakfast due to the reviews. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito and we were disappointed. It had very little egg and sausage. Mostly chopped tomatoes. The service was friendly and fast even with people standing outside the door, social distancing. The tables...were sanitized and they wore masks. I did expect the food to be better, and we did not try anything else on the menu. I am not sure we would stop here again. You have few choices as there are few places open. Road construction is everywhere.More

Great sandwich and soup. We had provolone and pest with grilled chicken on marbled rye. Fantastic food.

Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. We always stop here when in town. It never disappoints. Everything is made to order so there can be a line during busy times, but so worth the wait. Our coffee was expertly made and the sandwiches were stuffed full....It was a great start to the day. All Covid protections respectfully in placeMore

This is what I imagine every breakfast sandwich tasting like...plus they had a gluten free bagel option! Portions were large and easy for take out! I would definitely go back!

Nice spot for lunch, surrounded by books! The soup and sandwich that I had tasted so fresh and delicious. I would totally recommend this cafe.

Not too many choices for breakfast in this town. This place offered breakfast sandwiches with choice of bagel, English muffin, or croissant. Lunch was also offered

They have a breakfast wrap with scrambled eggs and homemade salsa. Can't remember other choices but it was good.
