The tables and chairs placed outside the restaurant are perfect for dining. The food is okay, nothing spectacular. Price is okay, too. Not pricey, not cheap. Some food servers were attentive, one was a bit rude. I came from a place where there are plenty of good and excellent restaurants, so I can't really say that there's something special with... More

Cafe Leona greets you upon entering Crisologo Street, that famous stretch of old stone houses in Vigan that has gained wide attention here and abroad. The best to dine is outside the resto, in the evening. Waiters bring out tables and chairs and serve food on the street. Since it is strategically located, you have a view of the famous... More

We were here because of the good reviews we read but we were disappointed as the the restaurant has a pungent smell that covers the entire room. If you have high expectations, do not dine here anymore.

I have eaten at the Cafe Leona, but decided to try something different from their lengthy menu. This time I tried one of their 12" anchovie pizzas.......wonderful choice! Surprizingly, my wife tried a piece and enjoyed it also even though it was her first time to try an anchovie pizza. Our table of five all had something different from the... More

We had Vigan Longganisa and Sizzling Mixed Vegetables. Both are okay but I guess we were expecting for something more.

Though this resto has a variety of menu to choose from, I think this resto does not have any qualified Chef but rather just homegrown or native cooks it hired in the area. The place is small and quite messy. so you can't enjoy the fine dining they offer. It's quite expensive also since you have to pay for a... More

My husband and I visited Cafe Leona in September 2016 because of the positive reviews we read online. We were so excited to have a taste of genuine Ilocano cuisine, as we were made to understand that it was their specialty. But after taking a bite or two, we realized that we've been to other, simpler restaurants, and even food... More

After a short stroll along Calle Crisologo, my team and I made our way to Cafe Leona to have dinner. It was a very busy weeknight and the inside of the restaurant was full, such that we opted to have our dinner al fresco. But fate wasn't on our side that night as it started to rain. We were ushered... More
