This little cafe is absolutely fantastic and the food and staff are brilliant. The pizzas are some of the best I've had in South east Asia and you can tell they are done properly in a pizza stove. The staff are attentive and even adapted...some of our order to suit our tastes. They have Heinz ketchup!! And lots of other yummy condiments. The burritos are filling and they have a really good selection of vegetarian and vegan food too. The seating is comfy and the whole atmosphere of the place is lovely. Free water refills inside too and a really good book swap! Went back a couple of times during my time Luang Namtha since it's one of the best in town. Thank you for the brilliant food!More

The pizza was not very good, place is not clean either (sofas are sticky and old). Would not go back again.

I stopped in here New Years Eve 2019 and enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere. My friend had a buritto that was dry and not very tasty. I had a salad that was swimming in dressing that had way too much vinegar. It seemed people were...enjoying the pizza so maybe that's the thing to get here. The drinks were tasty and if you get the LaoLao based drinks they are very inexpensive and taste good.More

What a perfect little restaurant, managed by Koly and her team. It was directly opposite our hotel the Thoulasith. It's quite unique here in having a wood fired pizza oven.... the pizza's were delicious and whilst more expensive than the Laos dishes they were more...than worth the money for quality and taste. (It was great to have a pizza after two weeks of Laos dishes....). The pasta was equally delicious as was the burritos. Coffee was very good. Prices for Laos dishes and drinks are reasonable. It's possibly the most comfortable spot to have a meal or drink in the town. Staff are all very pleasant. (We tried another restaurant along the road on our first night and it was not nearly as good as the bamboo Lounge.More

Right next to the Dokchampa Hotel where we were staying, we went for breakfast looking for good coffee. It was good and the muesli, yogurt and fruit was a nice change from the eggs that most serve in this area. We sat outside surrounded by...greenery which was nice. Recommended for breakfast.More

Definitely the restaurant you want to go to in Luang Namtha. The food was delicious and so we're the cocktails. Koly (I think was her name) provided excellent service and the staff were very friendly.

Our experience at the bamboo lounge was not a good one. We figured the nr1 on TA would be good so we gave it a go. The food is very underwhelming, the prices are just way too high and the service is really bad. 2...completely uninterested women who could not be bothered even a little smile worked the morning shift, we ordered pancakes and a breakfast burrito. The pancakeS as it said on the menu turned out to be a single pancake, which was almost uncooked. We had the same problem with the burrito, the dough was almost raw. When we told the staff they pretended not to understand. Maybe their pizza isn't sh*t but their breakfast sure is!More

We had two dishes chicken burrito and chat potatoes. We had been looking for nice food round here as it is very limited! Burrito wrap was made fresh! It honestly done the job for us although a little pricey was most definitely worth it!
