What happened? This used to be my favorite place. Now the menu has changed. The portions are become smaller. The steak that I got was hard and tough and difficult to cut even with a steak knife. What a shame this used to be my...favorite place. What happened to the beef brisket and barbecue that was the best thing about this place? It’s all gone now. What a shame.More

Hey Mike, thanks for the feedback. We needed to make some adjustments to the menu to keep menu costs down for our customers. Restaurants live on volume and making the menu affordable helps with more frequent visits. The Summit Smokehouse opened up down the road...More

Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. Beef pot roast, fish and chips, mac and cheese with pulled pork, baby back ribs. The drizzle drazzle sauce for the cheese curds was great. A must try...

Had lunch after leaving the casino this weekend. I loved loved the pot pie, everyone in our party loved their food except the putine fries. Totally would visit again.

The porterhouse was quite good, we’ll seasoned and grilled med. rare. Mountain Town’s new menu keeps prices down by eliminating the rolls and salads that used to come with the meal. The food was good, the service was very good, it’s just not what it...used to be or could be.More

Everything about this place was a 5. Great location in the old downtown area. Decor and ambience was fantastic. You can see the micro brewery inside.Staff were friendly and fast. We had a party of 40 and they treated us like gold. Food was awesome!...Had the baked spaghetti and meatball(its 8ounce). Delicious. Tried the pulled pork and nachos as app and it was delicious. Many in our party had the mutten or steak with goat cheese as recommended by staff. They all would eat it again in a heart beat. Im sure the desserts would have been awesome too but we just were too full to try. Several tried some recommended brews and also commented they were excellent as well. Overall I would not only recommend this place for date night, families or sports teams I would go out of my way to hit this gem up again. Oh and the prices were more than reasonable for what we ate. They talk about must see TV...this is a must see locationMore

This place is very busy. They do not take reservations. Wait was reasonable and the atmosphere enjoyable. I had the signature Drunken Steak. Cooked to perfection. My wife had the Pork Tenderloin Morels and, no surprise, another uniquely flavored dish that had her remarking, “I...might try that again!” They have an amazing maple vinegarette salad dressing and I enjoy the Flick Chips. (Description in me u). Staff didn’t have a lot of time to talk but overall a good Saturday night outing.More

We selected Mountain Town for a "cousin" dinner with 12 of us attending. We made reservations and off we went. Upon arrival, there were 5 staff persons at the front desk, no one greeted us, but they all seemed friendly....I made a joke about it...and gave the reservation name...they pointed us in the right direction, which surprised me that they didn't take us to the table. Ok, we're easy to please. So our table was directly outside the kitchen door....constant in and out, it was very smokey....not pleasant. The noise level was over the top...we had to literally yell to be heard by anyone not right next to us. Not liking that. The menu is ok, but I feel very overpriced. 3 pieces of cod and a few fries was $15.99. No other sides with it. It was ok, but no better than anywhere else where it goes for 10.99. Our waiter was very nice, but once we had a refill on our soda and he distributed checks we never saw him again. We stayed a bit after we paid, and couldn't even get a glass of water. Obvious to me that they were ready to seat more people. Not going back.More

The food was great. I ordered the fried cod and ordered sweet potato fries and my husband ordered the salmon with a baked potato. They were both very good. My husband said that the salmon was the best he'd had in awhile. I loved the...atmosphere inside. I must admit that the outside of the restaurant didn't impress me but once inside it really was interesting! Our waiter was very friendly and was on point with keeping our drinks filled and our food came in a timely fashion.More
