Not only is the challenge to get on the wall fun but conies and bitty burgers are very good. It’s cool atmosphere like you are transported back to the fifties .

We needed a "to go" meal on a late Saturday evening; Pixie to the rescue! Although there is a drive-thru lane available, we walked in, since we've never been there before, and wanted to take a look at the menu and be able to ask...questions. The staff here was very friendly and accommodating. The menu isn't that extensive...but, if you want a greasy gut-buster, Pixie can help you out (Burgers, dogs, some chicken, and other certainly not healthy options :) ). I ordered a burger combo and shake, while my daughter ordered the chicken tender combo. The chicken tenders weren't any different than fast food tenders, but my daughter said they hit the spot for what she was craving. My burger patty was definitely hand-formed and not pre-formed, which is always, always, always appreciated! It did taste pretty decent. The fries were very good, maybe a bit too salty, but they hit the spot as well. The shake was OK; it looks like they use pre-made shakes, where they rip the paper top off of the cup and stuck it in a blender. All in all, this meal absolutely hit the spot, and I wouldn't hesitate to return (although I might skip the shake).More

Delicious sauce, be ready to use a lot of napkins. And order a few extra, the warmed buns and manageable size make it easy to pound a few! Maybe get your name up on their walls of fame! Fries are crisp and good too, way...better than most fries. Great, now I'm hungry.More

Started eating coney dogs at Pixie as a freshman at CMU in 1956 and still go there every chance we get. Now my kids can't go by Mr. Pleasant without making a stop for a coney dog.

Stopped in after taking my wife's car to the body shop. Hurried so we went through the drive thru. Ordered 1/3 lb burgers with fries and drinks. Staff were amazing even asking if our dogs could have treats. Our problem was with the food. Knowing...that Pixies has been a local icon for years we expected better than what we received. Burgers were not fresh but frozen pre-made patties. Fries were slightly greasy. Drinks were small and slightly flat. Not what I expected after reading other reviews.More

Seriously, the staff at Pixie are so friendly. They also serve up a variety of yummy treats, like chili dogs and onion rings. Very affordable and a fun, clean restaurant in which to enjoy your meal.

We went there when we were buying a house. Our realtor said she didn't care for it, but we decided to find out for ourselves. We found out that she was right. I might have communicated with the order taker if I had a keyboard,...but since I was talking to him he couldn't relate to what I was saying. My order was screwed up. It frankly would have been poor anyway, I ate three bites and left the rest.More

‘Ello chaps! For anyone who has ever graduated from Central Michigan University, then little is to be said of what a legacy the Pixie is. A throwback to the days of the 1950’s in this diner style restaurant flare, their menu is most notable for...the mini burgers and coney dogs. Eat enough of either and you could find your name on the wall of fame. The Pixie is no five star restaurant, but it hits the right spot. Overall I give Pixie five stars out of five stars on my judging scale.More
