After driving past this place for a long time, my wife and I decided to stop in for lunch, and am I glad we did! I had a Rueben, which was fantastic, my wife had the quesadilla salad and she said it also was excellent. However, the absolute best item was their mushroom soup!! It was out of this world!!... More
Went here for lunch. Good menu selection. Great waitress. Great beer. My only complaint is that the hamburgers are too large--1/2 lb. I ordered fish instead.
We vacation in Monroe every summer at the lake, and have wanted to try Pete's for a few years and never got around to it. So very glad we did! The service was outstanding. They seated us at a flattop table at first, but my wife wanted to sit in one of the old car booths that they feature. The... More
Always a great choice in Monroe. A wide variety of food, and all of its delicious. You can sit in the old cars, around the large u-shaped bar, or in the upper level. I recommend the pizza, salads, subs, burrito, or wings. Always have good service. Great choice for casual dining. Parking can be tricky.
Went there for weekend get away dinner. Another usual stopping point for those get away weekends. Good food, a bit loud, and service was good.
Drove by this place a couple of times and there's always cars in the lot so I decided to try it. Sign said 1.99 margaritas and 1.25 tacos. Well, I ordered both. My Margarita was poured from a pitcher of ready made margaritas into a cheesy 12 oz plastic cup (may have been more). My tacos were delivered on a... More
Went there for a business lunch. I was at this restaurant about 3 years ago also and not much has changed at all. The wait staff are helpful and timely. The food is average to better than average but its typical Sports bar food. I got the garage burger medium. It was a little over done but not bad. The... More
Went on a Sunday, it was our first time. First impression was good. Great atmosphere, big bar, good beer selection, lots of tappers, pull tabs, and the service was great. My husband ordered the steak & beer special, I ordered the thin crust pizza, both were outstanding! We will be back!
My wife and I went for a Friday all you can eat fish. The food and service was great. Ran into one of my school buddies and got caught up on past events.
