Good soup, seafood platter with really big shrimp, scallops, frog legs and some Lake Erie perch. Pasta to go with this and nice bread basket. Good desert choices for a birthday dinner. Restaurant is 80 years old and they know what makes a good meal! This time it was 2 of us, but we have gone with a family group.... More

Nice place, the staff is friendly, the waitress made good suggestions, best Perch dinner I’ve had in the area, the dinner came with a side of pasta with meat sauce, incredible. I have visited this place twice in the couple of weeks I’ve been here and I can understand why local people tell me to come here. I will return….OFTEN…

Out driving when the wife asks of our dinner plans. She mentions Facebook friends are mentioning a place popular when she was much younger. So, we stopped. Decor is bit dated. Let's call it quaint. Service prompt and very courteous. I had prime rib, French onion soup and fries; wife had walleye, Italian wedding soup abs baked potato. Servings were... More

This was the second time at Joes. We live north of Detroit so it's over an hour drive. Believe me, if it was closer to home we would be dining there more often. The food is all homemade, and service is very good. Joes goes back to 1930 and the atmosphere is what you would expect from a good Italian... More

I keep thinking-hoping it will improve. Service was adverse and food plentiful. Or OK if you have a coupon but ..... It still has a way to go.

I took my parents here a couple of weeks ago for my dads birthday and I couldn't believe it had not changed since I was there last 15 years ago. The salad was a bagged lettuce that was old and brown, I ordered the prime rib and it was cooked perfect , but it was so tough I could barely... More

Very nice family owned Italian restaurant. Can be a quiet little romantic dinner, or the big family get together. Restaurant kind of separated. Great food. Cost level is about average.
