BEST Restaurant Meal We’ve Had In A Long Time!!!

Fantastic!!! They prepare the most DELICIOUS food! We got a carry-out. In our group, we enjoyed the pulled pork (big helping) and half chicken ( so moist and flavorful). We tried each other’s side dishes. Their sides taste like homemade!! First, the mac and cheese is a smooth, creamy (not strong) flavor with breadcrumbs on top. The sweet potatoes have generous amounts of brown sugar and pecans. The slaw was tasty with the pulled pork. The baked beans tasted like they were slow cooked. My husband couldn’t say enough about the green beans; they were cooked with bacon. Finally, they give you a generous piece of cornbread that’s really moist and more like cake. At a time when restaurant meals are smaller and pricey, the comfort food here is generous and worth it. As my dad used to say, “they feed you, they don’t fool you.” In the future, we would eat at the restaurant. We noticed their seating outside; the front of the restaurant totally opens up, so you can sit in with a nice breeze during Covid. Keep up the great bbq vittles!!!

The hubs and I went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The place was packed with lots of large groups, but our waitress was extremely efficient. Our food arrived in no time. We ordered the platter that had brisket, pulled pork, sausage and we added a quarter chicken. It was more than enough for the two of us. The meat was wonderful. I typically don't care for brisket because it's dry. This was not, it was very good. We had mac and cheese and baked beans as our sides. Both were yummy. The cornbread absolutely delish! Definitely going back again when in town.

Best Ribs in Michigan

Hands down, Smoke Street has THE best ribs in Michigan. Perfectly located in Downtown Milford, Michigan, there are ample tables, TVs and a bar area. The ribs and sauces are unbelievable. Add some of their amazing Mac and cheese and let the food comatose state settle in! There is street parking in the front and a large free parking lot/area in the back (easier).

We had a family of 6. The entire meal was cold, some items as they were still in the refrigerator. Obviously not fresh . 1 meal was wrong twice and not served properly until the entire family was done with their meal. Waitress never came back to check on the table. We had to flag down another staff. One of the managers, Jack treats the employees with total disrespect. I believe she needs an attitude adjustment or another line of work. We will never eat again at this establishment.

Kudos for being open on Labor Day!

Only restaurant open on Labor Day Monday in downtown Milford. Unfortunately they were so short staffed that they had to limit seating. We ordered a takeout and found a table outside to eat at. Pulled pork was average. Mac and cheese and cornbread were good. Good enough to go back? Probably not.

Loved it! Smoked chicken wings to start. Wife had ribs and chicken combo with the world-class mac & cheese and sweet potatoes. I had street tacos with pulled pork. Everything was very good and the service was very good.

Family outing to Milford

Great place to eat. In our party we had pizza, hot links, tacos and I had the chicken quesadilla. Everything was really good and the service was great! Theresa did an excellent job, very attentive, helpful and friendly!

50th Wedding Anniversary

Our family loves Smoke House! So this is where Mom and dad chose to celebrate their special day with family! The food was fabulous as usual and our waitress was excellent. There were 10 of us and not one complaint, thank you smoke house!!!

Excellent food, very small side portions

First experience was dine in and it was wonderful - ribs, Mac & Cheese (best ever), corn bread, moist and yummy! Portions were enough to take home. Looked forward to going back. Carry out our second experience and again the food was excellent. My disappointment was the portion size of the sides. I’d ordered a slab of ribs which was perfect for 4 with a slaw side and extra Mac and cheese (because it is sooooo good). The sides ($5-$6 each if you buy extra), honestly are just enough for one person, which was very disappointing, and unexpected. I’d love to give a higher rating, because really the food is excellent and would re-order in a heartbeat, but don’t feel it’s worth spending that much more for fillers no matter how good they are (even the Mac & cheese - note to the chef!!).

Yummy place for lunch

The BBQ options were good, I was there for lunch and ended up with a brisket sandwich. Portion was big, fries were outstanding. The meat was delicious! Service was attentive. I would definitely go back.

Best BBQ in Michigan

Smoke Street may be the best BBQ in Michigan. I have been to Slows and the taste and service are better here. You need to try their BBQ chicken salad. The sweetness and tender BBQ chicken adds so much flavor.

Nice food but very very very long wait time!!

I was in the place with a group for lunch. the restaurant was spacious and clean. They have good selection of food and beer to choose. The food was in good portions to fill all of us. The restaurant was less than half full and we had to wait close to an hour to get our orders. It was very annoying. Because of this, we had to cancel some of the business meetings after the lunch. Tip to future travelers: Allocate enough time before you go here.

GreT food, wonderful service

We came to celebrate our granddaughter’s birthday because she wanted ribs. Our server Sarah was fantastic. Not only did she give us great service but made sure the birthday girl was treated like a queen. Sarah made sure our food and drinks were perfect. Even when I wasn’t liking my drink I ordered, Sarah noticed I wasn’t drinking it and got me a new one. I didn’t even have to ask. My chicken sandwich was delicious, and the rest of us enjoyed our meals. We were a party of 9.
