We try something everything we go.last time I had a cowboy slapper.very good, hot ,tasty. Time before that ,the beef nachos.the beef was OLD and DRY Like is had been around a Long time .not good. This time was the fish and chips. The fish was very...greasy. Both the fish and fries were barely warm. Not good.Looks I better stick with a slapper.service was good as always.More

Had lunch here yesterday while in town to do antique shopping. One antique store recommended this restaurant. Overall it was a good meal. Service was fast and friendly. Looked like they were adhering to good Covid practices with things cleaned well and spacing. Biggest issue...was we received our food and both our lunches had something wrong. Had to chase waitress down to have it fixed. She quickly went to kitchen to have items fixed and even gave discount on husbands lunch. Just seems weird that two simple lunches (burger and sandwich) and both were wrong. Kitchen needs a little more attention to detail. Food was good though and prices were average. I would probably eat here again if in the area.More

Three of us stopped by on the way to a show. Did NOT have to ask to be served quickly, and the bartender greeted us as we stepped inside. As soon as we sat down (please seat yourself), Kendra, gave us menus and asked for...drink orders. Specials were advertised on multiple chalkboards. The place is medium sized, back and front street entrances, accessible, no dark but not bright, either, bar and table seating. Pleasant. Our food order arrived very quickly and was perfect. I ordered the crab pepper jack cheese soup, a house special. It was hot, cheesy, but NOT crab- it was the imitation. It was good, but not crab. BUT- the MI Salad was so big and fresh, the grilled whitefish satisfied (some skin still on), and the Reuben did not disappoint. Fair prices, GREAT, attentive waitress. Overall good time.More

Decent for a pub. I have a hard time eating here as I can't have fried food. But the soup is really good!

I have eaten here many times and the food, especially the 7-ounce sirloin, is pretty good-simple pub fare. The service has generally been decent, however, the last couple of times, I have had the same server - a tall young woman who seems nice enough,...but I am not sure about her knowledge base. My wife asked if they have wine by the glass. The server was stumped. When I explained that all she wanted was a glass of wine, the light bulb went off - apparently she thought "wine by the glass" was some sort of pre-packaged can of wine. Oy. Our food was brought to the table, but the server had completely overlooked the salads. When we were finished, we were not able to get her attention so we could pay our bill - took over 15 minutes. Not that that is a long time, but it feels like forever when you have had a bad dining experience. Oh. By the way. They still add a 4% additional service charge if you pay with credit cards.More

Loved the Swiss mushroom burger! The wait staff is friendly and efficient! Loved the brick walls and wooden floors! Bar area was louder than we wanted so we moved to the other side to talk. Looks like a great place to catch a ball game!

Seems like a popular place, nice atmosphere, but that's where it stops for us. On three separate occasions we have been presented with less than great service, cold food, and slow drinks. This is one of those places you really want to enjoy, but it...just hasn't lived up to the hype.More

We tried out this restaurant because we saw a coupon and advertisement. They only have several beers on tap, which was a disappointment. The food was average. I got a hamburger which was reasonable, but my fries were extremely burnt. The prices are about average...for this type of restaurant and pub. The menu selection was not too bad. Our experience was ruined when I paid with a credit card and got the statement, and it showed a service fee added to my bill. The waitress did not bother to say anything, even though I had plenty of cash on me. I said something to the waitress and she said they started charging a service fee for using a credit card to help keep their prices lower. I think any business could use that same logic. However, thankfully no other ones do. They may have had a sign posted, but I certainly did not see it until we were leaving. It was posted on the back of the entrance door.More

Wife had the portabello soup and half sandwich, also very good. Service was excellent, fast and friendly. Clean, and...comfortable. Will revisit when in the area. Sysco house.More

I want to like the Courthouse Pub, I really do. They have a nice new section off the bar side but it is still not far enough away from the actual bar where a slap-happy bunch of drinkers talk very loudly and inject enough four-letter...words to ruin the experience of other diners no matter where you sit. And this is not based on just one visit for us. Obviously management prefers to cater to them rather than the "average" patron. Burgers are decent but other fare we've had is definitely mediocre. Would not recommend.More

Michele was absolutely amazing, she was very attentive and on the ball! The food was delicious, I had the steak (a bit over cooked but still very tender and flavorful) and shrimp. My boyfriend loved the seafood basket. We both really enjoyed the mac and...jack bites. We will absolutely be coming back!More
