This place is the bomb. I am originally from Germany but I've lived in the US for about 6 years now. One of the things I miss the most about home are the beer gardens where family & friends congregate, eat dinner, drink beer, sit outdoors, relax, kids running and playing, live music...... THIS place offers it all. They have... More

A eclectic place with an ensemble of excellent brews. Appetizers and thin crust pizza's are very tasty

I am not a beer drinker, so I cannot personally testify as to the quality of their brews, but my friends say it is delicious! I can tell you that they have unique sandwiches with hilarious names, the best pizza ever the most unusual decor you will find anywhere. The walls and ceiling are full of hand thrown numbered beer... First the good. Nice staff, fun decor (hint, look up), good beer, interesting flavor profiles with the pizza. We had the taco (nice kick) and the pumpkin cilantro (both a must try). The raspberry ale was decent, the scotch ale a well balanced brew, and the brown ale nice hop level. If you're a real hop head, there are some... More

Live in town, ordered just twice in two years with the same experience. Costly and rude. I am sure it is great for the beer but I don't drink. Won't ever return to the bar/restaurant side. However, coffee and ice cream side has been a great experience though they are just getting it off the ground. I will return to... More

Love this brewery. The outdoor beer garden is awesome. We sit out there every time we go! The food is great. Very good selection. The only problem that we had was that our waitress was terrible. Not friendly, borderline rude. We had to wait forever to even have our order taken. The place was NOT busy at all.

Well this was the first place we went in the morning. Not sure if the waitress was having a bad day but she was kinda rude through out out lunch. I guess i askes to many questions about their beer and maybe she didn't want to take the time. It was ok by me but other folks might not like... More

What a great area built around the dark horse brewery. The beer is great and cold....many choices. Loved Scotty Karate, a scotch ale and on the suggestion of the bartender, mixed the raspberry ale with the crooked tree iPa.....a refreshing delight. We both ordered food....the meat lover sub and the rupunzel sandwich.....both excellent flavorful choices. Another suggestion was to visit... More

We were in town and have heard about this place so decided to give it a try. Our server was friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is neat. The ceramic mugs hanging from the ceiling is a cool idea. I am not a beer drinker, so the brewery part was not a draw for me. I thought I'd try some root... More
