Great beer, as you would expect, but they also have wonderful food, creative pizzas, and a relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor beer garden is perfect for a bite with friends in summer.

Am out here in Battle Creek for business and me and a few of the folks I am working with when to Dark Horse due to the good reviews. When we walked in, we noticed it was a little brewery with a great atmosphere. We really liked how they sell cups that you can use going forward for happy hour... More

You will go for the beer and stay for the outstanding pizza, laid back vibe and chance to witness a small town brewery slowly take the beer world by storm! This brewery has become so popular it was featured on a short series done by the History Channel. The Dark Horse also offers a hair salon, tattoo parlor, brewery equipment... More

This place is the bomb. I am originally from Germany but I've lived in the US for about 6 years now. One of the things I miss the most about home are the beer gardens where family & friends congregate, eat dinner, drink beer, sit outdoors, relax, kids running and playing, live music...... THIS place offers it all. They have... More

A eclectic place with an ensemble of excellent brews. Appetizers and thin crust pizza's are very tasty

I am not a beer drinker, so I cannot personally testify as to the quality of their brews, but my friends say it is delicious! I can tell you that they have unique sandwiches with hilarious names, the best pizza ever the most unusual decor you will find anywhere. The walls and ceiling are full of hand thrown numbered beer... First the good. Nice staff, fun decor (hint, look up), good beer, interesting flavor profiles with the pizza. We had the taco (nice kick) and the pumpkin cilantro (both a must try). The raspberry ale was decent, the scotch ale a well balanced brew, and the brown ale nice hop level. If you're a real hop head, there are some... More

Live in town, ordered just twice in two years with the same experience. Costly and rude. I am sure it is great for the beer but I don't drink. Won't ever return to the bar/restaurant side. However, coffee and ice cream side has been a great experience though they are just getting it off the ground. I will return to... More

Love this brewery. The outdoor beer garden is awesome. We sit out there every time we go! The food is great. Very good selection. The only problem that we had was that our waitress was terrible. Not friendly, borderline rude. We had to wait forever to even have our order taken. The place was NOT busy at all.
