This is an all time favorite restaurant! The food is absolutely phenomenal, but the service is even better. Eric and Zack, bartenders, make you feel like you are so welcome. Chef Nicole makes every dish to exception. This is a must stop if you are in Marquette. Their specialty is New Orleans style, but the menu is not limited to... More

My wife and I went there after a few interviews in the city, and we found the decorations to be very fitting of the theme, and we we were seated pretty quickly with a jam packed menu...lot's of options. Tried to get the alligator appetizer, but it was "out of season" said the server. I thought this was odd, as... More

I was very hesitant to go but I am so glad I did! It is a dive bar but I love divey places. You walk downstairs and you could hear the jazzy blues band playing, was greeted by a smiling wait staff helped to a high top and had a drink in had within minutes. We ordered the oysters on... More

Its a little hard to find because it doesnt have a large sign and its in the basement. However it is well worth it. Who would think that there would be authentic Cajun/Creole food in Marquette , Mich.? Everything from red beans and rice to catfish,to shrimp to alligator and frog legs. It is all prepared well. The atmosphere is... More

This place is a gem. May not be easy to find but well worth the search. We ordered the shrimp and grits and crab chops and enjoyed both. This is as close to NOLA as you can find in the north. Just plain fun!

We visited this restaurant recently during our family trip. We arrived the restaurant late around 7:45 PM, and waited around 30 minutes for our seat. The food was great. I ordered jambalaya and seafood bisque. They were all delicious and flavorful. My dad had the creole pasta with seafood. (He asked if it is possible to swap the cream sauce... More

I was unsure what type of food I would find here because I had Cajun/creole down south and it was just ok! But this unique and cozy place is now at the top of my list of favorite restaurants anywhere, ever!!! Everything on the menu is made from scratch! And as they say on their web page, they use their... We were surprised to find a cajun restaurant in the UP, but it sounded just right after a few hours mountain biking. It was quiet when we visited, but I imagine it's a super fun atmosphere when it's crowded. Service was friendly and enthusiastic. Super happy with the drinks and food.

Although quite dark, it was pleasant and the staff very friendly. My Crawfish Etouffee was tasty though the roux seemed a tad grainy. As a New Orleans lover it's great to have something like this so far from The Quarter. Unique serving dishes added a great touch. Excellent service.

Thank B G
