Visiting from Petoskey, we came in to get dessert not knowing what they had. From the moment we walked in the door we were kindly greeted. Everything looked so good, but the Birthday Cake cupcake and the Gazelle caught my eye! The owner/cake Baker was there telling us about the cupcakes, he was helpful and friendly and makes some awesome tasting sweets!

We stopped because I wanted fresh ciabatta bread for our lunch on vacation and we walked out with several bags of goodies. The young lady waiting on us was so pleasant and helpful. They sliced our bread for us and answered questions since we'd never been there. Muffins, bagels and donuts all came with us and are delicious!! Highly recommend a fresh toasted bagel with cream cheese and getting a blueberry muffin to go! Enjoy! 🙂

When in Marquette we always try to save time for a visit the Huron Mountain Bakery. The sandwiches are unique; the scones, cookies, and cakes are all perfectly made, fresh, and tasty. The staff is always helpful and friendly--obviously a very well managed business.

Stopped to get desserts for son's birthday. Each tried something different. Fruit tarts were luscious. Carrotcake cupcake was divine and triple chocolate cupcake type was so rich had to eat it over a couple days...worth it for this diabetic to pace! A true gem.

Had read good things, and it was a day "I could splurge," so I did. Husband, mom and I stopped in on a Tuesday morning about 9:30 or so. Mom and I both had orange cranberry scones. Husband had eclair; said was great. I had espresso (super -- thanks for offering this!) Just a few booths, and we were lucky to get one. They sell lots of beautiful pastries, plus loaves of artisan bread (flavors vary by day). I wanted a ham & cheese croissant, and they were out, so I had spinach/feta. It was good. Scone was really something special. My mom said too sweet for her, and she gave the rest to me, which I had that afternoon while traveling. Would stop there again while in the area. I wish they had a few more healthy choices, maybe like a "power bar" or something with high fiber, protein and limited sugar (but please, no soy or dairy if you can do it.)

The pastries here are very good. The chocolate croissants were flakey and had just the right amount of chocolate. The bagels and donuts are fresh and well made. For a restaurant which makes such good pastries, their coffee was disappointing. It was weak and tasted like flavored water.

You’ll feel like you died and went to carb and sugar heaven!! An overwhelming choice of you name it for donuts, bread, muffins, etc. The place was clean, service was friendly and quick...only reason for not 5 stars is the donut quality was on par for a grocery store, I’ve had better, but it’s hard to knock any donut!!

I will give them credit where credit is due and that's variety...bread's, cakes, doughnuts, bagels etc BUT to be honest the taste is just so-so. I had a muffing and a cupcake and my husband had a bagel and a muffin. Nothing special.

We stopped here to check it out and it was near the end of the day so the pastry selection, as expected, was picked over. I got a loaf of sourdough and Italian bread. Both were good but the sourdough was fantastic.
We did buy some pastries at the Ishpeming location and the pastries were good.

Usually great donuts, but the filling in the cream filled has disappeared. Not sure why, but whomever is filling these needs a lesson. This has been the way all the chocolate cream filled have been. Jelly seems ok, but why skimpy on cream? Time to pick it back up and check your quality control.

Wow, just wow!! As someone who was raised on Nutty Donuts in the lower part of the state, I have missed this delectable sweet for the last 25 years I’ve been away. In a recent visit we just had to try and see if they had any made and was tickled to see them fresh this morning. They were absolutely PERFECT. Yes, we’ll be back tomorrow morning for more and likely again the next day before we leave town! Such a welcoming place and friendly service, run don’t walk to Huron’s Bakery!

Cute bakery. The quality of the items depends on what you order. We thought all of the croissants were of very high quality and really enjoyed them. We also enjoyed the croissant breakfast sandwiches. We ordered a cupcake and did not think the quality matched that of the croissants. The bakery's website and pictures online show that they offer espresso drinks but they no longer offer that. Just regular brewed coffee.

My husband and I were visiting the area and stopped here. I was very excited to see they had chocolate croissants, so I got one of those and an apple fritter. Turns out I did not love the chocolate croissant (too much croissant, not quite enough chocolate), but the apple fritter was amazing!

Try the danish coconut cookies. We went back for more the second day in town but they were out. But on that visit we didn’t know their hours, arrived as they were closing. Lady was nice to let us in anyway and we bought sugar cookies. Another winner. Recommend this nice place!

Great baked goods. The hot breakfast croissants were really filling. Jelly donuts re a favorite. They've added new sandwiches which all looked really good. Busy little bakery and we can see why!
