Anytime we visit Marquette, this is a stop we make. The bakery items are wonderful. Love this spot! From bread, to donuts, to desserts, you have endless options.

Great baked goods. The hot breakfast croissants were really filling. Jelly donuts re a favorite. They've added new sandwiches which all looked really good. Busy little bakery and we can see why!
The chocolate overload cupcake was heaven in a cupcake!! I don't think this bakery can make anything bad. The worst thing was deciding what to get because you want to try everything. Highly recommend a trip there. Bring your appetite.
The pastries here are very good. The chocolate croissants were flakey and had just the right amount of chocolate. The bagels and donuts are fresh and well made. For a restaurant which makes such good pastries, their coffee was disappointing. It was weak and tasted...like flavored water.More
Everything is so good; I have a hard time deciding! The bread and bagels are awesome; the pastries are delicious! My favorite is the almond croissant! We often grab one of their savory sandwiches for our trip home.
Visiting from Petoskey, we came in to get dessert not knowing what they had. From the moment we walked in the door we were kindly greeted. Everything looked so good, but the Birthday Cake cupcake and the Gazelle caught my eye! The owner/cake Baker was...there telling us about the cupcakes, he was helpful and friendly and makes some awesome tasting sweets!More
Try the danish coconut cookies. We went back for more the second day in town but they were out. But on that visit we didn’t know their hours, arrived as they were closing. Lady was nice to let us in anyway and we bought sugar...cookies. Another winner. Recommend this nice place!More
Had read good things, and it was a day "I could splurge," so I did. Husband, mom and I stopped in on a Tuesday morning about 9:30 or so. Mom and I both had orange cranberry scones. Husband had eclair; said was great. I had...espresso (super -- thanks for offering this!) Just a few booths, and we were lucky to get one. They sell lots of beautiful pastries, plus loaves of artisan bread (flavors vary by day). I wanted a ham & cheese croissant, and they were out, so I had spinach/feta. It was good. Scone was really something special. My mom said too sweet for her, and she gave the rest to me, which I had that afternoon while traveling. Would stop there again while in the area. I wish they had a few more healthy choices, maybe like a "power bar" or something with high fiber, protein and limited sugar (but please, no soy or dairy if you can do it.)More
OMG!!! This was our “way back home” to lower Michigan for breakfast. The donuts we so fresh and the selection was outstanding! The had everything I’m stock at 9am which usually never happens for great donuts! The Apple stuffed croissant was fabulous!
Picked up a cake for my son's birthday while we were visiting. Delicous. If you want it customized, go in the morning. Many other options.
My husband and I were visiting the area and stopped here. I was very excited to see they had chocolate croissants, so I got one of those and an apple fritter. Turns out I did not love the chocolate croissant (too much croissant, not quite...enough chocolate), but the apple fritter was amazing!More
Amazing fresh and delicious baked goods and fresh sandwiches made daily. Don’t miss out on this little gem. Opens early and apple fritters are melt in your mouth delicious.
Excellent baked goods. The cinnamon fry is the best I have had anywhere, it was huge and very fresh. Our kids loved the donuts too.
We stopped because I wanted fresh ciabatta bread for our lunch on vacation and we walked out with several bags of goodies. The young lady waiting on us was so pleasant and helpful. They sliced our bread for us and answered questions since we'd never...been there. Muffins, bagels and donuts all came with us and are delicious!! Highly recommend a fresh toasted bagel with cream cheese and getting a blueberry muffin to go! Enjoy! 🙂More
*If I could give a zero I would* I called Huron Mountain Bakery back in December and booked them for my wedding cake/cupcakes for October. They took all my info about my wedding, said “we have you in the book”. I called back a month...later to tell them what type of flavors I’d be wanting. Then all of a sudden no one wanted to deal with me. I called them THREE times for each time they said, “we’ll have to call you back about your date” after the 3rd time I was pretty upset, so I even spoke with Joe the manager. Same thing. Told me, “I’ll have to get back to you” After not hearing anything from anyone, I luckily found another baker for my wedding. Long story short, if you’re a bride, do not go here! Brides are stressed out enough, why would they do something like this?! If someone messed up and forgot to actually write my date down, the least they could do is to own up to their mistake and give me a call back! I WILL NEVER GO BACK! Definitely not a happy “customer”More
