First, be aware that the address listed isn't current - Amy's has recently moved to a new location at the other end of town, on the same street and same side, just past the High School. The address is now 591 W Main.
Huge menu!...Many, many choices for both breakfast and lunch. I had Amy's Haystack, which is hash browns with bacon, cheese and sour cream - delicious! The hash browns were just the right amount of crisp. I got the half order, which was quite large, and just right for me. If you are really hungry, get the full size order.
A local favorite, Amy's was packed on a Thursday morning. The prices are so reasonable, and the food is so good - this is the place where local business people, farmers, grandmas and moms meet frequently. Service is excellent, even when it is busy, and often the waitresses will remember your name. It's a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth the drive to visit Amy's.More
Super staff at our fun, neighborhood diner. Amy and her crew make everyone feel welcome. She posts daily specials on her FB page which are always good. No excuses are needed to stop in for a relaxing breakfast or lunch. Prices are decent and food...is consistently good and also available for take out.More
Big portions was what I noticed first - and that this breakfast was scrumptious. The poached eggs were done just right, and the hash browns were crispy yet tender inside. The toast was raisin bread just lightly spread with butter, not soaking in it. And...the sausage patties - two! - were large and delish. Amy’s is soon moving to a new location just west of town - can’t wait for the Grand Opening!More
Driving through town on vacation, we are looking for a place to eat. The outside of the building is sketchy...went inside and it was very quaint. An older couple, who were regulars, told me the blueberry French toast was her favorite. They serve breakfast all...day long, so my husband ordered it, with eggs. It was nothing like he’d ever had before! ......loaded with blueberries, and the think French bread was caramelized...fantastic. I ordered a philly sandwich, but in a fried tortilla wrap...had a hint of horseradish...crazy good! The menu was unbelievably huge...so many choices of meals to choose from. Amy, the owner came over and talked to us....she said she knows the building outside isn’t pretty, but she is moving down the street to a nicer place. This diner is what I would call a HIDDEN GEM! We each ordered a meal, a soda and a dessert that we split...bill came to $20.40More
