Eh... read reviews and thought man I'm down for a really good burger on our way through. Had high hopes and honestly was let down. Burgers really had no flavor. Definitely wasn't worth the almost 45 minute wait to get it. Fries were okay, nothing...special. We definitely went during a peak period so maybe that has something to do with it.More

My husband went there today to ask for a Pepsi and 2 orders of mushrooms. We go there because the Pepsi is usually very good. However, this time, my husband tried to ask the server to wait on the Pepsi until the mushrooms were done,...but she walked away and did not here him. He called me and told me what happened, so I said I would call and see if the manager would serve the order all at the same time. She actually accused me of cussing at the server in the drive-thru. When I told her I wasn't even there, she faltered a bit, asked the server about the situation, and the server lied and said she heard me on the phone, talking to my husband and saying, 'tell her to order the friggin pepsi. As I told the 'manager', I never speak like that, I'm a licensed pastor, for Heavens sake. I was simply trying to ask her to extend a courtesy by having the server bring the mushrooms out at the same time as the Pepsi. The manager told me that she was the manager, her mother was the owner, and she chose to believe her server. WOW! No Pepsi in the world is worth that disrespect. Not a very nice place to visit, and we wont be back. I certainly don't suggest this place for good customer service, even though the Pepsi is very good. Just not worth the rude and inappropriate behavior. I did try to speak with the owner but she never even gave me a chance to speak, as she already had pre-conceived notions based on the lies told her by the server and her daughter, the manager.More

We normally do not reply to posts that are this far fetched, but we have to make a few things clear. First off, we’ve been serving this community for over 50 years and we take pride in what we do. We love our customers and...More

We ordered Perch Baskets and Cod Sandwiches. Both were very well made, and sides were great too. the paper trays and white bag made it easy to eat while in the car. The waitress was a superwoman -- there were at least a dozen cars...and she was the only one taking orders and delivering the food and handling the invoices. We did have to wait about 15 mins to place the order, but once we did, it was out in 10 mins.More

Stopped in while visiting the area. We all had pasties which had a tasty crust and really good filling. We ate outside on one of the picnic tables in front. Service was great. Would definitely go back.

We decided to eat at Clyde's in Manistique as we went by the one in St. Ignace to early for lunch. I order the Big C, which is 3/4# and my husband ordered a fish sandwich. My burger came out in pieces and was hard...to eat, so I asked for a fork. The meat was way over cooked, crispy and hard. I wonder if they put several smaller pieces together to equal 3/4#, because it didn’t look like a burger! The fish sandwich was flaky and good and made with a real fish fillet. Next time I would order the smaller burger and ask for it medium. They were good at social distancing with all outside seating and really busy.More

Had great burger baskets eating outside on picnic tables at this popular drive in. Olive burger was different and delicious, everything was hot and fresh. Mushroom/Swiss burger was great too. Worth the stop in this town. Staff was also very trained and covered regarding COVID-19...kudos...to staff!More

Great burgers - they even have a veggie burger option and gluten free buns available - just ask about those.

We stopped by this restaurant on our way through Michigan after seeing great reviews. My husband got a huge burger and loved it. We will definitely stop by on your next trip that direction.

We visited the UP in June when not everything had quite opened back up again. We had had a very unfulfilling morning of going to a lighthouse that was closed, going to the springs (park was open but raft across spring was closed). We were...beginning to think the day was a bust when we decided to stop for lunch at Clyde's. They were open! We come to the UP almost every summer and have always wanted to eat here but for one reason or another have never made it. This will be a regular stop now! Most of us just ordered the cheeseburger meal but our son got the Big C burger and it was just downright magnificent! Everything was delicious. The boys were enjoyed their cheese curds too. We have also gone to the West Pier Drive-In in Sault St. Marie and this was every bit as good! Will definitely be coming back! I have a great pic of our son with the Big C but since we can never get internet in the UP, it probably won't load. Thanks Clyde's, you saved the day!More
