One of the best sandwich places ever!! I try my best to get a different sandwich each and every time, never been through the entire menu yet. Great soup and wonderful deserts too! Staff is wonderful. Great view of the harbor.

The Upper Crust is just the cutest deli/restaurant ever! It is on the river and you can also see Lake Michigan. There is inside dining or outside on a deck weather permitting. They have soups, salads, wraps and sandwiches with unique names and ingredients. Everything was sooooo good!

Tucked away from the main highway down by the boat launch is a true hidden gem. Lunch sandwiches were crazy good on house made bread. A huge list of choices. Delicious soups and all kinds of fresh cookies that were amazing. Don't drive by - their sign is small and easy to miss.

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat after reading about it on TripAdvisor and it was definitely worthwhile. The service was good, we placed an order from a posted menu, and then they brought the food to us. Everything we ate was delicious, but unfortunately they didn't have the apple pie for which I understand they are famous.... More

Very enjoyable lunch at the Upper Crust Bakery/Deli...service & food are top notch!! Our family of 3 dined for under $33. Great value and very fresh!! My husband recommends the "Paul Bunyan", our son recommends "Bull in the Woods"...and I love their "Best Ever Turkey Club". The service was incredible...checking on us as needed for refills and our experience. Great... More

Awesome! Thanks so much for coming in for lunch! I appreciate you letting me know that the staff was attentive and you were happy with the value of the meal - it really means a lot. Our summer can get a bit overwhelming for the staff, so it's nice to know that we did our job well! Thanks again! More

On our most recent visit to Manistique, we had lunch at the Upper Crust Cafe. This is a good place for a bite to eat with a pretty view of the water. They have a nice assortment of sandwiches, salads and soups. We tried the Oriental Salad, the Philly Cheesesteak, several other sandwiches and soup. Everyone was happy with their... More

Thank you for the nice review! I'm glad that you each found something that satisfied what you were looking for - not always easy to do with a group. We are lucky enough to be the only restaurant that sits directly on the water, so thank you for mentioning that to future travelers. Hope to see you the next time... More

Great place for lunch! Fresh ingredients, fresh vegetables and bread. So many combinations. If you can find a slice of their homemade apple pie, it's the best ever. My granddaughter loves the cheesecake. Nicest people ever. Very reasonably priced.

just off the highway a few minutes and it is worth the time to find it. Who needs fast food and fat when you can have a huge array of sandwiches. All with fresh ingredients, meats and veggies. The bread selection is super and fresh. Not you Subway sandwich. Their soups are great ans service is friendly and fast. Go... More

Stopped for lunch - if your GPS steers you to a water treatment facility like ours did, keep going! The restaurant is in a little mall area overlooking the water. Choices are plentiful, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the view is pretty nice. A super choice for stopping while in town.

Thank you so much! We are hoping to get better signs out by the highway this upcoming summer - even our street sign is missing! It's hard to find us using the GPS, so I am really glad you were able to find us. We are very glad you had a good experience at our shop - thanks for letting... More
