We purchased a summer home in Manistee and we have been spending a lot of time here and have spent over a thousand in this restaurant. Was great a couple years ago but now the management is terrible! Super stupid decisions to make a buck...and have witnessed people leaving as a result. Letting kids sit at bar to make a buck is unbelievable and that was my last straw. This decision maker should be removed and replaced with someone more capable. Hate to see a great local place suffer from a bad manager.More

Hi Richard! I’m so sorry to hear of your experience however I’m not sure what other poor decisions were made other than allowing a minor to sit at the bar? It’s my understanding that you walked in, walked past a large group of people that...More

Got seated right away. Very friendly lady who seated us. Took 40 minutes to get our food. But food was very good. Then waited another 10 minutes to get check.

Meatballs were delicious. Ordered them with marinara which was mildly spicy - perfect. Initially the dish was delivered to the table not as hot as I had hoped for - but the kitchen took it right back and made it right. Generous portion - enough...to share in with my husband too so he could enjoy.More

Not bad. 2 teen boys and my wife seated outside. Per the waiters recommendation had the corned beef sandwich and it was good. Wife and sons liked their food and waiter was quick with service. Would eat there again.

Nice setting in an old historic building. Busy hot spot in town. We were seated immediately. The waitress was friendly and the drinks came out fast. The menu had a lot of variety. The food came out fast and was delicious. We ended up coming...back the next day for drinks at the bar. The staff is always cleaning and very efficient. It was snowing and blowing and was nice to have the fireplace going. Nice find.More

TJ's by far has the best menu in town. They're small and wait times can be annoying at their busiest times, but the wait is so worth it! I have tried much of their menu and have loved every bite of every dish- their smokey...bacon mac and cheese is unbeatable.More

We've been here several times and, although it sometimes has a wait, there is a bench out on the street to sit, as well as some space inside. Service is great and friendly and the food is very good. Special cheers for the meatball dishes,...as well as the wraps and salads. All the sandwiches are very good and nicely presented.More

I cannot recommend this place. Had to sit at the bar because (even with open tables) there was a 45 minute wait? Then waited 45 minutes for a prime rib sandwich, which they told me was already cooked because you cannot order to temp (medium...rare). They also don't mention that it's on rye bread and comes with some kind of sour cream and onion chips. The meal definitely wasn't worth the wait. There are better places to go for sure. I would avoid and go somewhere else....service was ok, but nothing special.More

The food was really good I thought the portion size was rather conservative. So if you've got some really hungry teenagers this may not be the best place to go.

Had dinner here with a group of friends. We had to be split into two groups as they don't have seating for large parties. The service was excellent as was the food. They have a very diverse menu which was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely...eat here again.More

We stopped here for lunch because I really love the building. I was thrilled with our experience, the sandwiches and craft beers were fantastic! The service was really top notch. It's a small place, but worth the wait, we'll definitely be back!

Evrytime we've ate here it's been excellent. The pub prime soup is awesome. The flatbreads are great and the lake slider sandwich is sooooo good. It's a small place but they have outdoor seating now.

We had TJs twice while staying in the hotel. The first night we had shrimp Alfredo in the Vault, up in the hotel lobby. Excellent service, very friendly waitress. Rich Alfredo sauce, large shrimp cooked to perfection. Delicious. The second night hubby had the Gyro...and I had the Chicken Flatbread sandwich. Both excellent. It looks like they are expanding their seating capacity during the pandemic by offering an additional dining option upstairs. It works!More

Since we are on lock down - only take out available which is too bad. The restaurant has a really nice feel and cozy atmosphere. We ordered take out and it was really good- had the pizza and TJ Salad. The pizza was perfect -...not too much cheese and the right amount of toppings. The salad was fresh and had lots of extra veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, carrots and mixed greens. Looking forward to going back to sit down to have dinner.More

Unsure. The food was too good for me to worry about wifi! BTW, this year;s trip through Manistee found an amazing Saturday night prime rib special at TJs. The best!
