Met my family here before continuing to the hotel. Not to happy with the food and found the cost to be a little more than what would be considered fair.

This classic restaurant was recently sold and plans call for it to become a microbrewery. The restaurant was located south of Mackinaw City on old US-31.

Good buffet and also good menu. Fun to see bears visiting outside the windows. Tablecloth service is really nice when you are out of town and into the wood experience.

We wanted to get off the well worn tourist path of Mackinaw City and we were not at all disappointed with Neath the Birches! It is indeed beneath big beautiful birch trees. It's all one room of ceiling to floor windows close together in a really lovely setting. Like most places in this area the lawn and landscaping are meticulously... More

This is the second year in a row that we have been here for our anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. I ordered the petite cut prime rib. Don't order anything larger unless you're starving because it was a huge portion. We had the same waitress, Shar, who brought us our to go cheese and crackers at the table... More

We decided to go for a nice dinner our last night in town. This place was beyond our expectations. The waitress was fabulous. The food was delicious. This place was quaint and reminded me of the supper club a family member owned. Hands down just Fabulous! We would definitely recommend to friends.

The food was plentiful and delicious. There was a salad bar, soup, delicious local white fish, shrimp, and home grown vegetables. The service was prompt and the restaurant was comfortable and cozy.

The menu was extremely overpriced for the quality of the food and service. I have never submitted a comment but this experience really ruined my evening.

We just completed a 4 day vacation in Mackinac City and a local merchant recommended we eat at Neath the Birches on our last night. The location was beautiful and everything on the menu looked delicious. The host who greeted us was warm and gracious. This dining experience was definitely headed in the right direction. Sadly, our server treated our... More

We took 60 travelers to Neath the Birches and the food and service was excellent. Everything was prepared for our arrival and the whitefish and cod on the buffet line were exceptional but everything was wonderful. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Jeannie V, I am glad you had such a great time. We try to make sure everything is hot and good on our buffets just like on our regular dinner menu. I hope you will be able to stop back and see us again. Vern More
