As far as pasties go, I have had better. Their filling is good but their crust leaves a bit to be desired. However, they have a BREAKFAST pasty- which is something that I've been hunting for for a long time. It was filled with scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, and potatoes and served with a sausage gravy. I smothered mine with... More

Thanks to Star Line cruises raising the plank and not letting us on a half filled ship to Mackinac Island, (see my review on that), we had an hour to kill, so we headed up the street and decided to try a pasty/pastie. The locals call them PASTie. As in meal from the past. We call them delicious. We had... More

We travel to Mackinaw City every summer and we always bring home a big bag of pasties to share. These are the real deal, very authentic, and delicious.

We are YOOPERs and we Know Pasty! The prices were outrageous for what you get. They were ok tasting and I can see why those who've never had one would be disappointed if this was their first. Sorry:(

Honestly, I'm being generous with two stars. Perhaps I was expecting too much, but both our beef and our chicken pasties reminded us of something you would find on a hospital tray. They were bland, the veggies were nearly undetectable and the gravy was exceptionally salty and clearly a pre-processed product. I really cannot recommend this food. Seek pasties elsewhere.

My wife and daughter and I have eaten many pasties over the years, but we had a young visitor from Paris, France, with us who had never had a pastie. We promised to get her one on this trip. We had eaten at Mackinaw Pastie last year, and we really liked them, so we went back again this year. We... More

Good food, descent amount. Nothing spectacular about pasties. Good experience for a one-time visit in my opinion. Prices are okay.

Stopped here with the kids on our way home. Pasties were good and their punch card allows you to earn a free pastie. We will be back!!
