Busy place, at least on the day we were there. Stopped there for supper, about a 20 minute wait for a table for two. I know larger parties had longer waits. Its multi level, so you may wind up with a decent view of the city if you get a window seat and don't mind climbing some stairs. There might... More

Went in on a busy friday night as a couple, wait time was minimal. Service was great the whole night. Food was excellent. Id go back again.

It was very busy so we thought it would be one of the best spots. It was overpriced and the food was bland.

I think we had a new server, it took a while to get to us, she was very sweet but forgot my husbands veggies when the meal came out. He had to tell her to take it off the bill. She had no problem doing that...he would have rather have had the veggies. It was pricey for the quality of... More

Stopped in after getting into Mackinac city late. Had Fish and chips very good! Enough for us to split.

Obviously when dining on the summer weekends you expect slower service...but at some point you shouldn't need to keep reminding the staff of every item you've ordered again and again. We did eventually get our food...chicken and Ruben sandwich...the chicken was so dry it could have been something from the 7-eleven rotisserie. The Ruben was so-so but couldn't get by... More

Good food and atmosphere. Nice burgers, fries, fish, chicken dishes. Friendly service. Plenty of TVs on the wall tuned to various sporting events.

The place was packed. This was our second time eating here. It's your average steak house nothing fancy but service is friendly and food is hot. Average wait for the amount of people they can serve. Not many places in mackinaw city worth eating at but this place is reliable.

Even though the name implies this is a bar/saloon, it is really a casual restaurant with a bar area. Rustic interior for the theme. Lots of food choices so there is probably something for everyone. Ask for a table upstairs for a better view (if you want to wait a little longer).

Stop in every trip up to the Mack. Always had good food and service. Can be busy but we tend to stop by in off hours. They say a pound of cod with fish and chips and there's always all of that. The wife burger was excellent with good flavor and the vegetable beef soup was tasty.
