I don't really eat salmon but my husband says this is the best smoked salmon ever. We go to Mackinaw City every couple of years and always stop here and pick up the smoked salmon - also stop on the way out of town for more to have @ home.

A small store. Not much to choose from. The prices were higher than other stores with similar products. My husband Bob and I got a small package of turkey jerky. The price $7.50 for 2 pcs. 1 was about 3 inches long and the other was 6-7i inches long. Very dry and tasteless. The Jerky outlets a long I-75 are... More

If you're wanting whitefish to take home, this is where you need to be. They are known for fresh whitefish but have an excellent assortment of smoked fish (whitefish, salmon, chubs & more). It also is extremely easy to find: The I-75 exit closest to the bridge on the Mackinaw City side and just one block off. Easy on/easy off!

Smoked and fresh fish; salami and summer sausage, spiced fish sausage links; I've eaten them all. I always stop en route home from fishing in Northern Ontario. Usual purchases are chunks of smoked salmon for me, whole smoked white fish for my wife, and salami which makes great sandwiches and scrambled eggs edible. They also can vacuum-pack fresh fish. Look beyond the basic shop (it is attached to the house and next to Krueger's automotive) What isn't there in decor is there in taste. Pick it up and cook it on a fire. This is always our go to stop during the summer. The Kruegers are there to help you and don't forget to get the whitefish dip.. (with... More

The smoked fish is very good here, but I usually get the whitefish pate. It's delicious on a cracker with a good beer. People working there always seem friendly too. Not a restaurant though; a fish market.

Fish we got had been smoked too long to the point of almost shoe leather. We eat quite a bit of the local whitefish, and were not pleased, and to us, a tad expensive also.

The best smoked fish we ever tried! The smell is mouth-watering. They have smoked whitefish (our favorite!), salmon, trout, and menominee. The whitefish pâté was amazing! So delicious and unique, tastes like nothing I've had before. They also have fresh whitefish that is great for grilling. Smoked sausage (salami and summer sausage) was also wonderful. The summer sausage is less... More
