Went there because there is no place better to get smoked fish than in Northern Michigan. The shop is small but has a good variety of smoked fish and sausage. The white fish was some of the best I've ever had.The people running the place were helpful and pleasant. They do the smoking right there. Will go back next time in... More

We hit Krueger's to pick up some smoked fish on our way to Wilderness State Park. Very excellent---we picked up salmon and whitefish. Less salty than other local smoked fish joints i've been to around the Great Lakes, yet the fish was s very tasty. The beef jerky, although pricey, was excellent too. It's also nice that the fish is... More

Kruegers is a small fish market. The sell fresh and smoked fish and jerky. I've bought fish there several times to take back to the campground and cook over the fire. I've bought whitefish and Lake Trout and it has always been fresh. Their smoked fish is very tasty. It is on the right side of the highway (going south)... More

I don't really eat salmon but my husband says this is the best smoked salmon ever. We go to Mackinaw City every couple of years and always stop here and pick up the smoked salmon - also stop on the way out of town for more to have @ home.

A small store. Not much to choose from. The prices were higher than other stores with similar products. My husband Bob and I got a small package of turkey jerky. The price $7.50 for 2 pcs. 1 was about 3 inches long and the other was 6-7i inches long. Very dry and tasteless. The Jerky outlets a long I-75 are... More

If you're wanting whitefish to take home, this is where you need to be. They are known for fresh whitefish but have an excellent assortment of smoked fish (whitefish, salmon, chubs & more). It also is extremely easy to find: The I-75 exit closest to the bridge on the Mackinaw City side and just one block off. Easy on/easy off!

Smoked and fresh fish; salami and summer sausage, spiced fish sausage links; I've eaten them all. I always stop en route home from fishing in Northern Ontario. Usual purchases are chunks of smoked salmon for me, whole smoked white fish for my wife, and salami which makes great sandwiches and scrambled eggs edible. They also can vacuum-pack fresh fish.
