Stopped in the afternoon for a treat, but wished we had picked somewhere else. Long johns and coffee were okay, nothing special. My husband's pastry was so dry he couldn't eat it. Counter service was very friendly. Prices are fair for a tourist town.

We always make sure we stop here when we are in town. Every donut we have has been great. I don't eat many donuts, but I make a exception for theirs. Enjoy!

Had a 'girls tea' breakfast with granddaughter, sister n law and her granddaughters. Fun time. Have a sit in side, sharing with a lot of locals. Then a tea gift shop on opposite side. Great tea selection if you're a tea lover. Note a 'fancy tea house' but a fun experience.

We stayed a whole summer several years ago and ate most of our meals there. You can take out, or eat what you buy right there. We ate there again this trip. The same staff was there. They have excellent pasties and pastries. They packed, our pasties, froze them for us and kept them until we left so they would... More

We walked from our motel room to eat a quick breakfast. We each had a delicious donut. The coffee and strawberry smoothie were very good. The eating area was clean, the staff very friendly.

I'm a local first of all. I have been coming to this bakery for as long as I can remember. Sunday mornings at my grams house always started off with chocolate milk and custard filled long johns. I call them the stuff dreams are made of lol. No matter where I go I miss these! They can be busy at... More

Stopped here for lunch. Not impressed with the inside. They didn't have a very good selection, either. You order at the counter and wait for your food, then seat yourself at an eating area to the side. Chose a pasty, since Michigan is famous for their pasties. It was pretty tasteless and boring with not much filling. Also picked out... More

The food and coffee were very good but get yours to go unless you want to listen to the "locals" complain about the "tourists"! (There was a large table of men drinking coffee and complaining).

My family knows donuts, after recently completing a donut trail in our local home town. This place has the best cream filled donuts ever. We went several times during our stay. And ended our visit with a few Big Mac (who could pass up a face size donutl! Just wish it was easier to order a coffee drink vs. Waiting... More

WONDERFUL old seasoned bakery. You name it,,,,, they've got it. Do not miss this bakery. But don't over do. I love bakeries. I have to pace myself. I can't decide what to order, so i just get a dozen,,,,,, take a bite of everything,,,,,,then take it home and make my husband finish it all, because he doesn't believe in wasting... More
