It's fudge. It's the original fudge. It's an icon of Mackinac Island. This place also has ice cream and popcorn.

We ordered 5 kinds of fudge - cherry chocolate, butter pecan, vanilla, chocolate mint and turtle. The cherry and mint flavors were very faint. It would be nice to bite into some chunks of real cherries instead a of a few mini bits. It was...very smooth though, as was the vanilla and mint. The butter pecan, while tasted good, was grainy and the turtle fudge was grainy as well. It was expensive, and good but not worth the cost.More

Ok obviously it’s delicious and it’s fudge but they no longer allow samples so I was super bummed about this. Always a better deal to buy more so thankfully we had people to go in with although we easily could have gotten 5 for ourselves.

This is sooooo good. Love to watch it being made. Everyone working so nice and friendly. The peanut brittle is great also.

While we were visiting the island, we chose this fudge store out of the dozen or so available because they were making the fudge at the time and it smelled so good. Everyone in the family rated it as the best fudge they every had.

Stop by these places and watch a tradition for over 80 years, they make fudge right in front of you. They have nice people working and they have wide varieties of fudge and other goodies to purchase. I bought a large piece of fudge, and...it lasted me five days.More

We stayed five nights on the island and pretty sure we sampled them all lol but Murdick's definitely stood out! It was the freshest and best tasting by far! We ended up purchasing 2 slices for ourselves, and 3 more for our family back home....The Turtle and German Chocolate were our faves!More

There were several fudge shops to pick from. While others may have had more options, Murdicks was the best.

Four half pound chunks was more than enough for 9 adults and 5 little ones! Got PB, Mint, Mocha and Original!

I have been not a huge fan of fudge, but let me tell you, this was the best. I have a new respect for fudge. They use butter and cream, and there is a difference, was very smooth, like a brownie on steroids. Was really...good. Price was average to others on the island. Sales clerk had no personality, but given it was the end of the season, can see where burn out would happen. Will order online again for sure.More

Title says it all. Our fudge was melt in your mouth delish, but the sales clerk definitely wished she were anywhere but there! I know we were there at the end of the season, but so many other people were so nice to us (across...the street)!More

We stopped by Murdicks and got a wedge of fudge. It was pretty good, same as the other places but expensive and the woman serving us was pretty unfriendly. We liked Joann's better.
