I hit the jackpot when I discovered a pound of Ryba’s fudge buried in my freezer from my trip to Mackinac Island last September. It’s the best ever and I’ve tried them all. Not sure my next trip will happen in May, I just ordered three pounds 😋 I can’t wait until it arrives. It is, without a doubt, the smoothest, creamiest fudge I’ve had! Hope you like it as much as I do.

Bought a slice of the Salted Caramel Chocolate fudge and was not disappointed. It was delicious! My only complaint is that I only wanted a half slice but you can’t buy a half slice of certain flavors? Doesn’t make since. $14 dollars for the small slice. Yes I would buy it again and I’m not even a big fan of fudge.

The fudge is very good, we had very good service, and there are many options available for any particular fancy for fudge flavors you may have. There are also deals such as 3 pieces for a fixed price that can dramatically reduce the price of the fudge, as long as you want a lot of fudge (and who doesn't?). We also made use of the "906 rewards" program that stretches across several businesses including Ryba's fudge so that spending money at other places resulted in "cash" we could use for fudge.

Experienced a super rude employee who told us with a serious amount of attitude that we should go to a competitor instead when she did not feel like checking a label for a food allergen issue (and they were not busy when we asked). Ironically we had been told by another very helpful employee at another Ryba’s down the street to check with this location because they had run out of the flavors we knew might be safe for our child that has a food allergy. Ryba’s needs to better screen their staff. Not cool.

The 2020 pandemic has been a challenging time for everyone including businesses struggling to stay open despite supply and staff shortages while continuing to implement and enforce additional health and safety precautions. Please accept our deepest apologies that you did not feel like the valued guest that you are to us. Mackinac Island welcomed tens of thousands of visitors on Labor Day weekend during a worldwide pandemic. Many visitors were rude, demanding, and refused to follow the safety precautions that otherwise endanger the health of other visitors and our staff. This was overwhelming to employees island-wide. While I'm not excusing her poor response, it was a difficult weekend and we hope that you'll find some compassion to give us another try during future island visits.

i’m writing this review only because there are only two fudge shops that have sugarless fudge. this one, and joannes. having tried both this one is far better. no it’s not the same as regular fudge, but if you can’t have sugar it’s really really good. creamy. sweet and nutty.

I just want to give props for a Christmas online order that went seamlessly! I had $165 in 906 Rewards that I wanted to spend because I had taken a vacation to Mackinac Island in August. My husband and I are from Florida, so I don't expect to be back, as I don't usually go to the same places again.
I was unsure of how to redeem my points so I called the store. John instructed me exactly how to redeem them and helped pinpoint exactly how much my order would be so I could stay under the points value that I had. My order came quickly and on time and I'm very much looking forward to giving out these sweet treats to my friends at a Christmas party. Thank you again John--your wonderful service was very much appreciated!

Absolutely delicious fudge! We got the trio…chocolate, chocolate pecan and peanut butter chocolate…all recommended by employee Sarah. She was kind and helpful, and her recommendations were on point. The store was clean and lots of variety!

My husband is from Michigan and we wanted a nod to his roots in our wedding favors so we purchased individually sized fudge from Ryba's online. While we ordered well in advance, it shipped and arrived a few days before our wedding and kept very well at room temperature. The fudge was delicious - besides us, our guests had great things to say - and the packaging was beautiful!

Stopped for the fudge… got the Mackinac Island Fudge Ice Cream on a waffle cone. This vanilla ice cream has chunks of chocolate fudge embedded within. OMG! Yummy Yummy Yummy! Sat and watched folks board the ferry while I finished off this delicacy!

Beautiful fudge shop right on main street. Lots of variety. Fudge tastes good. But we were disappointed to see that, despite the high price, the varieties rely on flavoring instead of the real ingredient.

There are several different fudge shops on the island this one is cute pink theme, they had three Ryba’s I went into all workers I were rude. But children wanted ice cream. Everyone treats tourist like they were an inconvenience. No helpful, German fudge was hard not soft in the middle.

During peak season, we do our best to assist customers as quickly as possible to manage the flow of guests and minimize crowding in the store. We’re also disappointed that the German Chocolate Fudge did not meet your expectations. As you may have seen from watching our busy fudgemakers in the window, all our fudge is made fresh daily with great care. This was a very busy shop. Several locations on the island. Fudge is being sold everywhere at several shops. However we felt like this place had the best tasting Fudge. So many options to choose from. All the flavors you could think of. Best of all the smells were free.
You are allowed to taste a few of these if you would like before purchasing!
If visiting I would reccomend you stop in here and try some for yourself.

I don't like fudge, but the caramel corn in the window was calling my name. It was very dark in color (darker than I'm used to...thought it might taste burnt) and tasted delicious! I wanted it plain, but all they had was with peanuts. I was able to yank (or bite!) them off and I was happy (hubby got the nuts!) We also got some salt water taffy, which was very good...better than I get in Maryland at the shore! Go in and buy something; you won't be sorry!

Great fudge, I don't do caffeine, so I got the strawberry...mmm good! It was very creamy...not nasty sweet like some fudge can get. It didn't last long!
