Just a great little place (literally). Like the old time feel of the place despite being at the tourist location. If you're not wanting fancy, this is right for you.

We arrived at the Island about 10:30am and weren't really hungry for lunch but saw this line out the door at Chuckwagon and figured it must be a great place. It is tiny and we were lucky to get 2 seats at the counter. The local color and friendly, efficient service is incredible as well as the food. We discovered... More

We had breakfast here two times during our stay on the island. Great tasting breakfast and quick service which is great if you are trying to catch a morning ferry back to Mackinaw City. The restaurant is like an extremely small hallway so you may have a wait when visiting during the busy season.

We get breakfast there every morning we're on the island. Lunch is great too. It's one of the cheapest places on the island but has some of the best food.

We really enjoyed this place. We were visiting "off season" (October) and the place was BUSY! I can't even imagine how busy it can get during the summer. We sat at the counter and had very tasty burgers and fries. Service was quick, price was good (especially for the island) and we will definitely be returning during our nest trip!

It's a tiny hole in the wall kind of place that I just love. The hamburgers were excellent so were the fries. The staff was super friendly. If you don't mind being squeshed it's a fantasic place to eat. LOVED IT! Would definitely eat there again.

Everytime we asked where to go we were told to try the Chuckwagon. This restaurant has a counter on one side and tables on the other with a narrow walkway. The servers are very friendly and efficient. The food came quickly and was wonderful.

Ive passed by this place many times, but it wasnt until I was looking for something cheap and easy that wouldnt kill my bank and I found it at the Chuck Wagon! Super small place, hot burgers, friendly staff, and quick service! Both times I ate there the week I was there, I was not upset at all. Nice small... More

If you love a good burger then this is the place for you. Delicious, hot and Fast Fast Fast! My favorite lunch by far of our stay on the island. Lighthearted atmosphere that's close.... but still cozy and inviting! Loved it! Try the regional olive burger and enjoy... don't forget to ring the dinner-bell on your way out! Juicy burgers...
