Best breakfast of our 12 day trip! Small diner-type setting but very efficient in getting great food out in a timely fashion. Friendly waiter and atmosphere.

Best breakfast on the Island. It’s small but so delicious! We had the scramble and the best cinnamon French toast with delicious bacon. Definitely going back there.

We had the olive burger, clubs, blts and black Russians. All were fantastic. The burgers are hand pattied, thick, griddled. The pretzel buns are fun. The black Russian (like a Reuben, but with turkey, bacon, and coleslaw) was incredible. After being stuck up the hill...with "premium" offerings, this was a revelation. Also - great service. The sandwiches come with chips and two of us wanted fries instead. It's cheaper just to get a fry basket than to sub, and the server let us know. Someone on the island trying to SAVE you money? It was in that moment I knew I was at the best place to eat. If you want hot, quick, tasty, reliable chow, this is the place.More

We ate lunch here late September of 2023. The great reviews are accurate. I had the Black Russian and my wife the cheeseburger. Both were excellent, cooked to order, and presented with a smile! The atmosphere is friendly, with the individual feel of a small...business. The food is prepared in front of you, and the staff hard working but attentive to needs. Definitely a great place for lunch!More

Great lunch! Fast friendly service. I accidentally ordered the wrong sandwich, but it was outstanding. I am glad I made the mistake. Chopped cheese sandwich.

We have come to the island for 6 years. We eat here every time. The burgers are the best, the breakfast burritos was amazing (first time trying it). Almost every time the line is out the door!

Service was efficient and quick. The food was good. The place is so tiny! You have to walk sideways to get in and out as the tables on one side are maybe a foot at most away from the stools at the counter. There is...no way two people can pass each other.More

We stood in line for 15 minutes before the Chuck Wagon opened again for the noon shift. We were able to get a table and were waited on almost immediately. -Two stools at the counter were broken, so there were two fewer spaces for someone...to sit.- Everyone in this small restaurant was served their food within 15 to 20 minutes of entering. A line continued to form outside as we were eating in this popular place. The Chuck Wagon Burger and Granny's Grilled Cheese (cheddar, bacon, Granny Smith apples and Aioli) which we ordered, were great!More

We arrived famished after a morning bike ride. I knew it would be good when I watched them place balls of fresh ground beef on the grill and smash them into burgers. We had no wait. But if there was a wait , it would...have been worth it.More

We ate here because of the reviews and were not disappointed. The rodeo burger was fantastic! A bustling lunch crowd and we had very fast service. Small narrow restaurant that is easy to walk by and miss, but make sure you don’t .

Great breakfast spot. There are only a few tables and the counter seating, but a sweet couple finishing up their coffee invited us to sit with them so that the three of us could sit together. My son loved his french toast! Our server was...busy, but made time to chat with us since it was our first visit. Definitely recommend!More

My son in law insisted on going here. Although very small and we had a party of 10 (6 adults, 4 small kids) we were just fine. You sometimes have to wait, we didn't. I ate a Oliver burger and it was delicious. The waitress...worked so hard to get food out in a timely manner, and they dud wonderful. Will definitely stop again when visiting the islandMore

Use butter on the grill all day. Not on the burgers or buns but for sandwiches. Our grill is very small. So I'd have to say it would be hard to avoid dairy here.

Yes, they will gladly make anything from their menu to go. Many travelers bring coolers so that they can take them with them when they rent bikes and then take a picnic in the parks.
