This place is no longer open but we learned that many of their specialities - like orange toast, cheese wookies and the Janice Sue sugar cookies are available for sale at the Leland Mercantile in town.
Stopped in for a quick, local bite while in Leland on a Fall color tour. Wife had a made to order breakfast sandwich—loved it! I had a couple made in house baked goods, both fresh and tasty!

This is essentially a bakery, and the high quality of the baked goods shows. Coffee is available in thermos dispensers; it’s OK, but nothing special. Since there’s no barista, you can’t get an espresso or a cappuccino here.

In the summer, get there before 9 to get the fresh pastries! Delicious cinnamon rolls, but you definitely can't beat their fresh pecan rolls! Worth every calorie, and they are huge! Their cookies are also fresh baked and delicious!
Stumbled upon this little gem. They offer several sandwiches, salads, and soups. We had the Leland salad with spinach, walnuts, dried cherries, blue-cheese crumbles, and chicken for $7.99.
