Was once a favorite of mine, now owned by landry's and is average at best. For the price and quality there are better options even for the Lansing area.

Even though we didn't have a meal here, we know the great quality of their key lime pie & try to buy a slice or two or a whole pie whenever we find a Mitchell's. As visitors to Lansing, we were happy to see Mitchell's so I went in to order 2 slices to take back to our hotel. I... More
The only reason to come here is if you have a craving for oysters on the half shell. Even then, their sauces (which surely come out of a bottle) are terrible. It is quite unbelievable that a place that specializes in fish cooks it so poorly. Rather, overcooks it. In visits over the last couple of months, they managed to... More
Great location in the outdoor upscale mall area and easy access right off 127. More than enough parking. Great for larger groups or special meals. More expensive than your normal lunch but good food. They have a bar area as you enter with booths for lunch time meal or you can sit in the main area at tables. Large restaurant... More
This is primarily a fish restaurant. The fish is fresh and tasty. The staff helpful. Eaten there many times and always excellent. Fis prepared many different ways. You can also buy fresh fish there from their counter. Fish counter not cheap.
My wife and I have been to various Mitchell's Fish Market's on a few occasions and have previously always had very good experiences. This was our first time to this location. We were seated promptly and the waitress was close behind which was great. We took our time and ordered a glass of wine each prior to making final decisions... More
Limited menu but very good food. Clean . A little pricy. Nice place to go for a special occasion . We like their salmon. Most of their food is very fresh.
One of our special occasion places that never disappoint. However my daughters blackened tilapia was a little underdone and not a whole lot of seasoning on it. Should have sent it back. Rest of the meal was excellent as always.
My wife and I discovered covered this place about 5 years ago after moving here from Oregon where fresh seafood is a staple commodity. We were thrilled to find a place that offer accurately prepared and very fresh seafood. It has become an absolute favorite of ours.
