I had a great overall experience here. It is not fancy, but it is the definition of a diner; good, cheap, food. loved the food, the service was great and friendly. Lots of MSU pictures on the wall bringing back the good days

My two nieces attend MSU so they love to have "Auntie" take them to brunch every few months or so. I never had any bad meal at Old Town Diner. I've even taken friends from out-of-state here and they've really enjoyed the meal and restaurant. Keep up the good work!

This little place could easily be missed but then you would have lost out on a great breakfast. Great food! Was very happy with it!

Yummy, Hot and quick breakfast! This little shop is just east of Old Town in Lansing on Grand River. Don't blink! You will miss it if you are not looking for it. It sits next to the Temple. The pancakes are really big and very good! The wait staff is friendly and are ready to re-fill your coffee cup without... More

On our way through town, we were looking for a cute little place for breakfast. We didn't want a Denny's or other chain, so we checked Yelp and Trip Advisor. The highest rated restaurant was a little too funky for my crowd, so we tried Old Town Diner. It was great! It's a quiet, cute little place with a homey... More

Breakfast here is simple and quiet. A hot grill puts a nice crisp to the edge of your pancakes and potatoes. It's quiet but the people are so friendly they'll talk to you even if they don't know you. What more could you want first thing in the morning?

For me to write a review the place usually has to be great...and occasionally just awful. Unfortunately this place is among the worst Lansing has to offer. The "Meat Lover's" omelet I ordered must not have had a tablespoon of meat in it. For $7.95 I think I deserved more. Being a diabetic, I asked, as I always do, to... More

Great place for breakfast in Old Town. Quick, friendly, good food at a small price. Only place in town that can really cook an egg (over medium) and get it right!! I love it there and have brought many out of town friends to eat.

I took my son and brother here for breakfast, great food and friendly service. It's a little hometown place with great prices and even better servings, the bread is homemade too!

Not recommended at all unfortunately. Poor quality ingredients and very poor service. Hash browns tasted like they cooked on a very dirty flat top or used old fryer oil. Breakfast burrito had very little sausage and chewy mushrooms. Not impressed.
