Decent carry out

We appreciate a good Asian restaurant. This one is, in our opinion, decent. We've ordere here several times before. Never dined in, just carried out. The sweet and sour chicken combo was pretty good; a little light on the optional chicken fried rice. The Thai red chicken curry was a little spicy, tasty but light on the vegetables. Nothing to write home about. The 'decor' hasn't changed in like years, probably not the cleanest or neatest place but Asian quaint. Give it a try. U may Like.

I am very particular on chiness food. I didn't care for this at all. The dishes they offered that I had had at other places didn't taste the same. The meat is very saucy and the rice/noodles is dry. as if they cooked it 2 days ago. refuse to go back.

I ordered delivery recently for lunch. 1 of the meals was very incorrect (ordered a chicken dish and got shrimp instead with only 4 shrimp). Called the restaurant and even offed to pick up the corrected dish, after ordering delivery. However they insisted on delivery again, Its been over 2 hours an no one has arrived. Very dissatisfied

ABSOLUTELY WORST PLACE TO EAT. If you are in the Lansing area, DO NOT GO TO ULIKE CHINESE RESTAURANT. We ordered over $250.00 of food, food was sub-par at best, then we had missing items. It was like pulling teeth to get them to make the missing food. When I came to pick up the food, they charged me over $27. for food not rendered, then charged me $9. Told me that the $27. was a mistake and would return it back to my credit card. I have been calling for over a month because those charges were not reversed. Gave me the run around, talked to at least 6 people and they gave me every excuse as to why they cannot refund my monies!! Contacting BBB & my credit card company for fraud!

We’ve been ordering from Ulike for many years. Not the best but good and quick. However their customer service is horrible. If they make a mistake (like they did with our last order) they will not make any attempt to make it right. They will not refund any money, replace what you order or anything at all. We were told we could return our food with no refund or keep our food with no refund. So we left our food there because it wasn’t at all what we ordered and now we’re out $35. They wouldn’t admit their mistake and did not care at all that they took our money and we left with zero food.

I ordered their General tsao chicken combo rice was hard meat was not what I wanted only thing they got is that their food is hot when it comes out to other than that I won't be eating here again I spent almost $12 for undercooked rice and orange chicken instead of general tsao's chicken.

Great food and super great prices and all of the portions are large. We have eaten here more that six times and each time it was a success. It is a small location that has better food and service than many large establishments I have visited.

Very good shrimp fried rice!

I usually judge Chinese food by asking myself two questions: Did it taste good? & Did I get sick? This place has tasty food and I have not gotten sick after eating it. So that's a passing score in my book. I prefer to have Chinese food delivered and after moving to Holt, there are not many Chinese places that deliver there. This place does and the food is always hot upon arrival. Their shrimp fried rice is really good and so is their general so shrimp. My husband has had the general so chicken and he liked that too. The portion's are pretty big. One entrée will feed two people for sure!

I am so happy to have food that isn't weighed down with heavy sauces and MSG. It was also nice to have someone answer the phone who wasn't rude like most of the Chinese restaurants that I call.

This really is a take out restaurant

If you try to eat in, the place has little atmosphere, food is presented in take out containers. You either buy a bottle of water, if water is your choice, or drink from a tepid water dispenser. However you certainly can eat in if you wish. The other diners will be almost all Asian, a great sign for an Asian restaurant. Now that being said, the food is very, very good. The only other places in town where you can get dumplings this good (in smaller orders for more money, by the way) are Hua-pei and Kamp-Bo. They have a more extensive menu than most places,some things are sort of unique to them locally, with some really interesting and tasty Thai Curries.. The Sesame Tofu is orders of magnitude better than one might predict. The take out orders are huge and ready within 10 minutes. The food runs spicey. If you do not want very hot, do ask them to not make it hot. They will adjust it...sort of. For Asian take out, this place holds its' own with anyplace in town. I visited a long time back the first week they were open. The food is greatly improved, hardly the same if you have not been there recently. Don't let the appearance of the place put you off...their food is wonderful in your mouth! If you've read my reviews, you'll recall that I love little hole-in-the -wall places...this one is worth knowing about.

Stopped for lunch at U Like. Ordered the General Tso's Chicken. It was very acceptable and taste was pretty good. It was served with fried rice and broccoli. Not the fanciest place, but I had no problem eating there.

Beware! Very Dirty!!!

I went to this place because they had a nice looking menu I received in the mail. The outside of the building looked out, but the inside was horrible. The service was sketchy, tables dirty and plenty of clutter around the inside of the building. The cooking area looked very dirty. Will not visit again.
