Love the quality of their bagels and sandwiches. One of my favorite combinations is swiss onion bagel, cream cheese, red onion, and salmon. Can't wait to get more anytime I'm in the area.

The best New York style bagels ever! The best cream cheese too. So thankful they’re open during this coronavirus pandemic. I haven’t eaten a better bagel literally anywhere. Go right when they open for peak deliciousness. They also make great lattes and cappuccinos. My favorite bagels are everything, Asiago and ultimate. Any breakfast sandwich or deli sandwich!!! YUM

If you are in the area and looking for a true Jewish Bagel shop, Mannies is the place! Great service, the best bagels and a fantastic array of specialty cream cheeses. The sandwiches are fantastic, and the lox are awesome!

New in the area and trying to help out the local small businesses. I went above and beyond and purchased a dozen bagels and a pound of cream cheese (I wouldn't normally do that or tip 50%). All I really wanted was a chai tea. I ordered one of those with Almond Milk. It was curb service today and not too busy, so I didn't think I needed to verify my order. Got home and my chai tea was coffee. Boy was I disappointed. I called and of course they offered for me to come back and get a new one (not able to, this was my only opportunity to get out of the house until Monday, I take care of my Mom). They wouldn't deliver to me (after I went out of my way for them). I do understand, but I will continue to try other local places before I go back. After reading the other reviews, I chose not to speak to the owner. Very disappointed.

I had a horrible experience !!! Walked in at 3 mins to 7am. Not a good morning not a hello. Just a "were not open yet"" They open at 7am Literally 3 mins. I was talking to my friend on the phone and she starts accusing me that Im talking about them which I wasnt. SMH. The owner came over and was just as rude!!! I was beside myself almost to the point of tears. She starts telling me everyone in the parking lot has been waiting in line here first. ok I just walked out at this point..I felt harassed.

I love bagels from Mannie's. They are the same as NY Bagel in Ferndale. Definitely the best NY bagels.

....I LOVE the owner! She is the sweetest lady. All you naysayers probably complain about everybody and everything.
Absolutely the best bagels, cream cheese and service. I anticipate my next visit with such longing.

I have been here several times because the food is decent, however, the owner is just unpleasant to both customer and employees. Life is too short to deal with that type of attitude over a bagel.

The owner is always ridiculously rude to the point that if I see her in there, I won’t go in. However, last time I was in there she was yelling at her young employees and that was the final straw for me. I will eat anywhere else bit here.

Many’s bagels are deliciously homemade delights. The defiantly beat a jimmy dean frozen breakfast sandwiches. Their homemade cream cheese moth numerous flavors and bagel sandwiches like no other leave manies at the very top!

Oh Yummy! The best bagels and cream cheese found here at Mannie’s is in Lake Orion! Get some bagels, sandwiches, chips and a drink and head over to one of the many beautiful lakes in the area! Enjoy each and every delectable bite!

To start, this ONLY got 4 stars instead of 5 because I think the royalty of bagel/sandwich quality is a well-known Ann Arbor business that cannot be beat. I will only say it starts with a 'Z'. If you are into bagels & sandwiches you know the deli I'm referring to. I compare all places to 'Z' and within Michigan, there isn't another as good.
Beyond that, Mannies is GREAT. I've never had anything that wasn't good. There is an awesome selection of sandwiches and options. The very best: VEGAN/VEGETARIAN OPTIONS THAT ARE CREATIVE! Many yoga teachers and students are regulars there, it's wonderful they honor that for us.
All staff is efficient and friendly and willing to tweak your choice as you request. They are typically fast even with several people waiting. Only once out of dozens and dozens of times did I encounter a person with lead in their shoes; never saw that person after.
They also offer a huge selection of drink options both made behind counter and refrigerated to go. You can buy a take home CC in an array of flavors. Typical chips and snack bag grabs as well. It would be nice to see an upscale quality potato chip like Zapp's however. It'd be even nicer to see a vegan mock cream cheese.
The few tables and counter are pretty clean, and you'll see daily regulars there for years it seems.
If you're in town or traveling through, avoid the chain names and come to this place that actually cares about their customers. So nice to not have only chain places available. These owners are good people.

They will make your bagel anyway you like it. Toasted with butter and cream cheese, not toasted, toasted with just cream cheese. It's the best bagel around and even if there is a line it moves along. So glad to have a good bagel close to home.

The staff here is always friendly, the bagels are always fresh, the sandwiches always delicious. I love this place and so thankful it is on my way to the office.

Some of the best NY style bagels around. Always fresh, so get there early if you want your favorite. Try the smoked whitefish salad too.
