Amid a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, Food Dance is our favorite breakfast place to go when getting together with family and friends. Local, fresh ingredients put together in delicious ways brings us back, along with their "fresh" squeezed orange juice! The Pig in the Garden is my favorite, scrambled egg, bacon, potatoes, cheese, green onion and cherry tomatoes...very tasty! And served... More

Servers are knowledgeable and friendly. Food is local and delicious. Worth the price. They even offer great cooking classes.

Excellent food and service. This is a restaurant that really cares about their food. Yes, the taste of the food is excellent, but more than that they can actually tell you the local farms that supplied ingredients in your dish. We were a large family group, so the restaurant accommodated us by supplying us with a private dining room. Obviously... More

We ordered lunch from this restaurant a couple of times during a business trip to Kalamazoo. The sandwiches were excellent!

A real party of flavors come about in the simplest of dishes. The black beans were dynamite and the tuna was fresh. Sever ice was fantastic. Will be back.

We had pretty high expectations coming here. Everything was above and beyond what we were anticipating. Great service, fantastic food! If we are ever in the area again....we wouldn't dare go anywhere else!

Visited on a Sunday and was limited to breakfast. My wife and stepson had eaten lunch here and said it was excellent. However this time my wife's pancakes were cold and she had to request a replacement order. My biscuits and gravy was barely warm enough to eat and the biscuits were old and tough. A very poor experience.

My mother, my husband and I enjoyed dinner at Food Dance this evening. All of us had salads with our meal; they were very good with the house-made fresh bread. My mom had the trout which she really liked. My husband had the bed and breakfast burger which he raved over. My macaroni and cheese was excellent. We didn't have... More

The hostess was incredibly rude - not to myself, but another member in our group. We went on Saturday, July 30th. Upon arrival the hostess proceeded to scold a guest in our party because our reservation had not been made at least an hour in advance. Yes, scolded, as if they were a parent and the other individual was a... More

For 20 years, Food Dance has been committed to building a thriving and sustainable local food system. We support artisans who practice craft food processes that have been around for generations-growing, raising, preserving, curing, aging, pickling, butchering and more. For Food Dance, it's about the connection with the people and places their food comes from-authentic people and authentic food that's true to its source. Serving breakfast, lunch or dinner-guests are served the freshest menu items in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. We offer private dining space for celebrations or larger groups as well as catering and delivery. We host cooking classes and special dinners throughout the year - aimed to introduce guests to new elements of the culinary and agricultural worlds. Our on-site market offers amazing ingredients sourced from their family of purveyors-from sustainable, humanely raised meats, sausages and artisan cheeses to fresh baked bread, pastries and savory baked goods.
