It's neat to see the beers change prices (by 25 cents or so) every 15 minutes. We sat at the bar and waited for service for a few minutes, so I went to the restroom downstairs. When I returned my husband said the bartender refused...More

It is well worth spending a couple hours here. They have a great beer selection on tap. The prices are constantly changing during the night. If a beer starts getting bought a lot, the price goes up. If a beer isn't being bought, the price...More

We lucked out to arrive to the bar just as the market crashed, so we got two beers for $6 total! Literally a few minutes later, those beers had almost doubled in price and some beers were going for much more...one was over $12! It...More

So here is the gimmick. Beers start off at a moderately high price. Like the stock exchange the more volume people buy the higher the price so you go with a group of people everyone likes the same beer it starts out at five dollars...More

The novelty of the stock market for beers never really wears off, but the best part of KBE are the fajita nachos. You won't be disappointed!

Such a fun place to go to. The whole concept is completely unique so hats off to them. If you can wait for the market to crash you can save a little $$ on your favorite beer. The food is good too!

The beer exchange has great food, I recommend their fish and chips or their hand cut chips with chip dip-SO GOOD! The beer selection is always pretty good. We especially love the petite pairings on Thursdays, 4 small bites with 4 flight sized beers for...More

The kitchen is open until 9 or 10 p.m. so I'm sure under 18 is allowed until then or a little after. Hope this helps.

I think older kids (tween/teen) would be fine here for lunch or early dinner. More a bar than a restaurant, but the food's quite good & it's a clean/nice environment. Imo, there are much better family dinner options... More

The Kalamazoo Beer Exchange is a two-story multi-tap bar and grill located in the beautifully restored Globe Building in downtown Kalamazoo. Offering 28 rotating draught beers from around the world, The Exchange opens at 6 p.m., where draught beers are priced on real-time sales, like the stock market. Occasional "market crashes" drop beer prices to their all-time low. The food menu features pub fare with a twist, where classic dishes will be made new again.
