A great concept and always buzzing - which is what a good restaurant should be like. Good selection of beers, good food and a chance to splurge when the market crashes.

Beer prices are adjusted according to demand, just like the stock market. Great selection of beers on tap as well as lots of Michigan beers in cans and bottles. A must stop.

Great bar, busy and full every night! Really enjoyed trying a lot of local beers in the exchange, even the popular beers dropped in the crash. Great concept

My husband and I visited a family member here over a year ago and he took us to the beer exchange. We love the concept of the market prices changing and hoping to see the crash! It gave us an excuse to try out new...More

Very interesting concept on the beer pricing. Price of beer changes every 12-15 minutes and the beers are listing on a screen just like you are watching the stock market. Did not stay for food. I was "bar hoping"

Went here for dinner on a Saturday. Did not realize it was graduation day. Waited almost two hours for a table. Beer selection is really pretty great with a unique pricing scheme. Food was okay, but could have eaten about an hour earlier if we...More

We love coming here for drinks, appetizers or even dinner! The selection of beer and cider drinks is great. Love their white chocolate pudding for dessert. Can shoot pool downstairs if you'd like. Fun to watch the drink prices change and hope the market crashes....More

It's a celebration of Western capitalism! You go in, all the beers are listed on the TVs like stocks (with ticker tapes and so on, which, by the way, is WAY better than watching crap sports, so keep it up KBE!), and you get to...More

The Kalamazoo Beer Exchange is a unique experience. It has a great selection of beers, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is "warm" and inviting. My husband and I like to sit in the area of the bar. It is VERY crowded on weekends,...More

We had dinner here. The food was very good. Service all night was great. The beer prices going up or down every 15 minutes or so is fun. The market crash, when all the prices fall, is a lot of fun. We would have liked...More

The kitchen is open until 9 or 10 p.m. so I'm sure under 18 is allowed until then or a little after. Hope this helps.

I think older kids (tween/teen) would be fine here for lunch or early dinner. More a bar than a restaurant, but the food's quite good & it's a clean/nice environment. Imo, there are much better family dinner options... More

The Kalamazoo Beer Exchange is a two-story multi-tap bar and grill located in the beautifully restored Globe Building in downtown Kalamazoo. Offering 28 rotating draught beers from around the world, The Exchange opens at 6 p.m., where draught beers are priced on real-time sales, like the stock market. Occasional "market crashes" drop beer prices to their all-time low. The food menu features pub fare with a twist, where classic dishes will be made new again.
