I guess they weren't prepared for us. The beer selection is good, but the food was not. I had the meatloaf and it was the saltiest I had ever tried. The auGratin potatoes were very greasy.

We brought our friends here for their first visit. We were just going to have a drink, but looking at all the great tasting dishes flying out of the kitchen we decided to stay for dinner. They offer a $5.00 Strohs and coney dog ( Dearborn) which both guys ordered. Another friend had the BBQ sandwich which she declared excellent.... More

A friend and I shared a flight and loaded nacho. The beer was good and if you like nacho they are the best I had.

Beer was good selection and the stock exchange was a fun idea to roll with. We didn't have any food but atmosphere and selection was good. Would go again

We were blown away by this place. Some of the beers were meh, but at $2 a glass you can't go wrong. The stock market crashes are hilarious to see everybody buying like crazy. Such a cool idea; I wish Madison had something like this!! It would do really well. Do they franchise? :)

We went for beer and dinner with friends. The stock market prices changing frequently on the big screen, although gimicky, is fun to watch! Quite often, breweries just have your typical, run of the mill bar food. Kal Beer Exchange is a notch above, serving creative and nicely presented food that tastes great! It can get rather loud, so if... More

Great place to visit, try your luck at the stock exchange but with beer, even when you fail you win, the food is good food for pubs.

Great food!! Awesome beer!! Lots of TVs for sports!! What more do you need?!?! The idea of having the price of beer be dependant on the demand that day is a very interesting idea, but Kalamazoo Beer Exchange executes it wonderfully!!

Really cool concept as the beers change price every 15 minutes. Loved to follow the movements and try to get a "deal". Mac&cheese was also really good. Sadly didn’t have a "market crash" while we were there on a Saturday night. Will have to go back!

Description
The Kalamazoo Beer Exchange is a two-story multi-tap bar and grill located in the beautifully restored Globe Building in downtown Kalamazoo. Offering 28 rotating draught beers from around the world, The Exchange opens at 6 p.m., where draught beers are priced on real-time sales, like the stock market. Occasional "market crashes" drop beer prices to their all-time low. The food menu features pub fare with a twist, where classic dishes will be made new again.
