Loft seems to quite busy. They have a lounge seating that is very comfortable and a very nice outside seating area. The venue is tailored for the younger crowd. Being 80 years old it was not my typical hangout.the food was very good but on...the expensive side.More

I stopped in after an incredibly emotional day. After trying the butternut squash soup and scallops, with a glass of chardonnay, I left feeling satisfied and strangely comforted. The ambiance is wonderful, the service is fabulous, and the food, particularly the soup, was some of...the best I had in my stay in town.More

My husband and I had a nice quiet dinner up in the loft. Our filets were cooked to perfection and the wine was delicious! Tuesday is half price on wine. If you want to relax and have a great steak go here. Also our server...was the best!More

My husband and I tried this place on a whim and it was very good! We had fun with the wine flights. My husband had the scallops, they were huge and cooked perfectly. I had a flatbread, it had a districtive taste, it was fresh...and toasted perfectly. We enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, it was classy but not stuffy. We will definitely be back.More

Nice selection of wines from which to choose. We enjoyed the 2 oz flights. Small plates are good, too. Server provided just the right amount of attention; not over the top, not too little.

In town for a conference, 6 of us met at The Wine Loft for dinner on a cold, snowy Tuesday evening. The menu suggested which wine to pair with your meal. I had the filet with a medium dry cabernet that was delicious. Our service was...impeccable and it was quiet enough to have several conversations all at the same time. This was the second venue that we frequented while in 'the zoo' and we were very impressed with the quality. Would definitely recommend.More

This is a cool, downtown bar. Great vibe, great wine selection and the wait staff has always offered good suggestions for wine.

I enjoyed the flatbread that I ordered as it was delicious. I think I would rather buy a bottle of wine the next time vs. the flight of wine. I was not really impressed with the choices as they were ok but not great. I...will go back next spring and try it again with some different options as the restaurant is really impressive and the wait staff are excellent.More

Enjoyed an evening here with good snacks, flatbreads, and of course wine. Recommend it for dinner or a glass of wine and snack before dinner.

It's only April, but my favorite restaurant of 2017. Salmon was delicious. Pickled beets reminded me of my grandma recipe, and the cukes rounded the dish perfectly. Fellow diner had the scallops, and was equally impressed. Had several wine flights, I'd recommend the Italian flight....Dined in sweatshirt and ballcap and never felt the atmosphere was pretentious or awkward. Atmosphere was enjoyable. Thanks, I'll definitely be back.More

I was unimpressed with the Wine Loft. I found it to be very pretentious. One of the first things I noticed was the lack of choices of wine. For a wine bar it had only 15 to 20 wine to choose from. The bar we...had just left had as many, and everything was over priced. This is the kind of place you take someone when you are trying to impress them with how sophisticated you are.More

I had dinner with my daughter last night at The Wine Loft. The decor and overall atmosphere is lovely, everything from dining tables to couches and bar space. We reviewed their wine list and each of us chose to order by the glass as I...like cabs (Trig Point) and she prefers sweeter wines (Innocent Bystander) both were very good. We then ordered dishes to share. The goat cheese appetizer was delicious although the cheese is on the mild side (not as tangy as most). Our waitress ordered extra toast points after passing our table and noticing we were running low. Yes, that's the kind of attention we received from all of the staff. They were attentive without being intrusive, something rarely found. We also ordered the beef tenderloin tapas. The sauce was amazing and was an extra reason to use the additional toast points. My only issue was the beef being more well done than I like, but it was still tastey. The best dish of the night was the Mushroom Flatbread. I could have ordered another and kept it all for myself. Sweet and savory all in each bite! Next time I'm in Kalamazoo I will make a point of returning to the Wine Loft.More

Had a nice dinner, appetizers and wine at the Wine Loft. Unique seating areas with comfortable sofas and lounge chairs. Nice menu with a variety of items - this is not just a wine bar. Small, intimate atmosphere.
