We ordered our food on a Wednesday and took advantage of the $5 specials. I got the sushi rolls for $5 each, they we’re good. My wife got nachos, wings, & shrimp all for $5 each the shrimp was $1.25 each. The wings and nachos were good but the wings were overcooked and rubbery. We got pick-uo at the rear because of the virus restrictions. We will try one of their daily specials again, but will probably avoid the shrimp.

Definitely to The Deck on Wednesday nights for some sushi-you will not be disappointed. I’ve been wanting to try the sushi here for some time. We had been taking advantage of their carry out services (also great) but finally made it for dine-in on Wednesday-it might become a new tradition.

Don't judge this book by it's cover. This is probably the best place to eat for miles and miles. Coming to dinner here is one of the things I look forward to every year on our annual trip to Lake LeAnn. It's always busy so make sure you have reservations. While they have normal food (like burgers, pizzas, and sandwiches), I always order one of the specials and I've never been disappointed. Last time it was white fish en papillote and it was AMAZING. I think the chef is a genius. I wanted to walk back into the kitchen and kiss him or her...but they were busy and I thought it would be weird. Service is always great and everyone is really nice. Kid friendly too!
COVID Update: We've ordered from them a couple of times for pickup during the pandemic, and they've got their take-out game on point. Food was delicious as always, and whatever was wrong was minimal, as it's a pandemic and we know that local restaurants are trying as hard as they can. Looking forward to ordering from them again soon!

We have been supporting small local businesses getting take out order for the family online there was a 2 hour wait we still ordered, when we arrived were told it would be another 20 minutes. After another 45 minutes asked what was going on were told they were behind because they haven't been doing this long and still working out some bugs. Finally got our food after another 15 minutes. The only fresh food was the sushi my hamburger was cold and dried out like shoe leather you could tell it had been undere a heat lamp for a long time and my daughter's order was wrong and no way to get it fixed because they were closed.

The food, and drink at The Deck are always great. Prices are very reasonable and the service is exceptional. The chef does a great job with the white fish special as it is my favorite. Looking forward to many return visits

The food was the best we've had in the area since we moved a little over a year ago. The truffle fries were better than the ones at our favorite restaurant from our old neighborhood. My husband said his strip steak was among the best he had and I really enjoyed my whitefish. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back and will bring friends.

We had the fried perch dinner. The fish were perfectly breaded and fried, with no greasiness at all. The hush puppies are like none you have ever had before because they have herbs and cheese in a flavorful mix. The atmosphere is casual, and the wait staff are so polite and welcoming. We will be back again.

I only write reviews if a place is REALLY good or REALLY bad. TDDU is the former - every dish (6 of us) was on point, fairly priced, perfect service. We visited on a Thursday, and the sushi specials were as good as any sushi specialty restaurant. Premium bottled beer @ $3,50, margaritas at $7 . . . . our group was wanting to visit every night of the week to try other menu items and the daily specials!

I tried the walleye, my wife tried the fried clams, the clams were tough, she wouldn't get them again. The walleye was pretty good, the batter was ok and didn't overpower the fish.
At $16.99 I thought it was reasonable. Since we drove from Toledo I'm not sure when we would try again. Service was good, and dining room is a few steps down from street level, very different.

The DDU is our go to date nite place and we’re there pretty much weekly. They always go above and beyond to be welcoming and the service is superior even on nights when they’re crazy busy. They offer innovative specials that chef Megan works hard on developing, and Lindsey does a fabulous job bringing creative seasonal cocktail creations out frequently. We love our DDU and the service, relaxed atmosphere, and high quality food they consistently offer. The clam chowder equals the best we’ve had on the east coast. Thanks DDU!!

This unassuming place is, as the overused phrase goes, a hidden gem. But it's not one of those places people call a best-kept secret, because the place is bustling. The menu has a wide variety of burgers, seafood items, tacos, and the like. They are all great. Even the sides, like a tangy coleslaw, mixed fresh vegetables, and an island rice, are special. Don't miss the crisp fries or the onion rings. Sushi is available on Thursdays. Service is always good. Insider hint: ask for Jerry as your server. It can get noisy, so go early or late if that bothers you. Make a reservation online or by phone to avoid a wait. A couple minor quibbles: there are no entrées, as such, for vegetarians, but you can mix and match sides to make a meal. It would be nice to have better napkins and silverware. But this place is terrific!

Read a positive article about this restaurant so tried it out and was VERY impressed. The exterior doesn't look that great and the inside is nothing fancy or new but the food is excellent! Wide variety of menu items. Service was friendly and efficient. Items ordered at our table: Mushroom Swiss burger, fries, lake perch, crab cakes, and grilled salmon with squash ravioli - are superb. We will certainly be back.

We went in on a Tuesday for a birthday dinner. We were seated quickly and waited on. Our food was delivered timely and we enjoyed our meal. Can't say anything bad, we enjoyed and will be back. I believe the menu was still more limited than in the past. With limited staffing we didn't experience any hold ups and our waitress was attentive.

We took a break from the 92° at the campground and headed here for dinner. Great service. Good food. I had the Fiesta chicken which was really good. My son had chicken tenders which he did not care for and he's definitely a connoisseur in that department! Decent draft list.

Wow!! Don’t let the green metal building put you off. A friend recommended it so we went for lunch to celebrate my birthday. Decorated to the hilt for Halloween. Our waitress was super! Menu was quite extensive. We had the bread bites and mini tacos for appetizers. Gooood. Husband had shrimp dinner , I had Crab cakes. He also had a bowl of clam chowder that was thick, meaty and so good.
It was all great. We were so full, we took the key lime pie home for after dinner. (It was very good).
Very comfortable, varied seating, clean restrooms with grab bars. It’s an hours drive from our home so we’ll go back
