In town seeing some new customers and this brewery was recommended. Great beer cold and well made, food sucks. I got the wings special on Wednesday they were hard and no taste and I got a piece of cake for $10.00 OMG my granddaughters kids...bake oven could have done better! If you read my reviews I’m always honest and upfront. Great beer but eat some where else.More

Scary for gluten free people. My waitress and the bartender did not know what gluten free meant. Disappointing lunch, kind of pricey. Best thing was the bloody mary bar.

Unfortunately, the food has taken a turn for the worse. The new pizza is disgusting and other dishes are subpar. The menu prices have increased significantly, as with most restaurants, but the quality is not worthy of the new pricing. On the upside, the servers...are great and the beer is still good.More

Excellent food. Great service. Fried pickles were top notch. Brownie sundae with homemade caramel was to die for. 💯 worth it!

Bad food. Tried their happy hour specials. Not as advertised. Ridiculous prices. Poor quality. A great way to chase customers out the door. Pictured: $5 onion rings (about the size of a small fry. Not even full). Two for $7 sloppy joe. Embarrassing.

We’ve been to Grand River quite a few times for the last 3 years, and have always enjoyed it. Recently, however, they downsized their menu and the “healthier/fancier” items are no longer available (besides the overpriced power bowls). A little disappointed.

We’ve been coming here regularly since they opened. Prior to Covid the BBQ, beer, portions, taste and service were all pretty good and we used to like their lunch specials and coming for Sunday brunch. Prior to 2020 it was $13 for a burger -...ok, lunchtime sammy $12-14 - ok. Now its $18-24 for the same sandwiches and burgers. This is Jackson! a small blue-collar town, these prices are crazy. Must have been 6 times since Covid subsided and the portions are smaller and the service is now terrible. The last time I came for a business lunch I asked for small town brown, a beer they’ve had since opening; was told they don’t do that anymore, and was told the menu (on an iPad) wasn’t updated. Got the fish and chips main as its weirdly cheaper than the sandwiches / sammys I usually get for lunch - only $17. Oh boy, you can see the cost cutting, a tiny very greasy fillet and mostly uncooked batter (see pic). Waitress heard my complaint but no apology. My business friend asked for sides for his sammy, they never came, again no apology. I’ve got many friends in their “mug club” for regulars who have stopped going as its now too expensive and the service and quality are way down since “reopening”. Times and places change I guess, I have many happy memories but I wont be going again.More

We are new to Jackson and had lunch at the Grand River Brewery yesterday. Everything was excellent - atmosphere, service, food, and beer! My husband is super picky and said it was the best burger he's had and he really enjoyed the beer, so much...so that he bought a couple cans to go! My sirloin steak, asparagus and spinach salad were top notch! Our server was prompt and knowledgeable and we noted they have live entertainment many nights. We will definitely be back!More

First timers. Friends took us to Grand River Brewery and we are so glad they did. We will return. Very good beers, but heavy on the darker brews and IPA's. We did like one of the lighter ales and the Polish lager...which should be on...tap and on the tasting flights. A beer flight is a good way to try the beers, and they are a generous pour. The food is very very good. We really like a good poutine, and GRB does it very well. Hot fries, naked curds that are not preheated, and then a well made hot brown gravy to melt it all together. They add chopped scallions for a bit of color and taste. This is an outstanding item. We tried one...liked it so much...we got another. There is a bit of everything on the menu, at all price points. Their fries are excellent. Happy Hour is from 3-5 pm Mon-Fri...and poutine and drinks are half price. They also have specials, themed dinners, and more. Check their website. I also enjoyed the trout chowder ... but they could cut the salt a bit. Very nice place, excellent service and an enjoyable afternoon that makes us desire to go back. Prices are moderate, and there is a small souvenir store and bakery near the hostess station.More

Grand River is a great place to visit for locals and out of town guests. Fantastic food, drinks and consistently good service. I recommend the Ruben Balls, BBQ Pastrami Sandwich and Mac & Cheese which they have managed to elevate to another level. The drinks...whether you like beer or not are all top notch especially their 313 Polish Lager, Mammoth Skull & Short Island. Cheers.More
