Our entire family love Riverside Pizza. Staff is great and the owner is exceptional. The dine is wonderful but get there early as the tables fill up fast. When the place is full, expect to wait up to an hour for your pizza but the...pizza is SO worth the wait.More

It’s a must for me and my friends and family when I’m home to visit. Sometimes I go twice while I’m visiting because I know I can’t get it for another year. There’s nothing else like it- thin crust, flavorful sauce, plenty of toppings. I...wish they opened one in Arizona so I could have it more often.More

Best pizza in the U.P.? I'd check out the Ambassador Restaurant in Houghton and then think again. Riverside was good, not certain the crust is homemade and doubtful about the sauce as well. Server was very good. No frills here, you get small paper plates,...no utensils (if you plan to order extra cheese take along a plastic knife with you, they don't provide anything and you end up picking the pieces apart with your fingers). But it may well be the best pizza in the area, and it certainly got the job done.More

I love this pizza! I grew up eating Riverside Pizza and I still consider it the best. Cut in squares. They do not scrimp on the toppings.

We have been big fans of Riverside Pizza for years. We have never found a pizza as good as Riverside. This last visit was a disappointment and I'm sure it was because of the carry out only. We ordered about 8 pizzas, went in and...picked them up. We had to drive to our cousins (about a 10 minute drive) and when we began eating the pizza... it tasted like the cardboard disk the pizza was packaged on. We'll try it again when we can go sit inside the restaurant. Hope that will be soon.More

Riverside is doing a great job of managing business during the pandemic. They are still offering take-out, and manage the number of people inside and use plexiglass to keep staff and customers safe. The pizza is as fabulous as ever - thin, cracker crust with...delicious sauce. Highly recommend the sausage - no fennel, great flavor and they are generous with the toppings! Definitely must try when in Iron River!More

We stopped and brought a pizza to our cabin while on vacation to the U.P. The pizza was ready when they said it would be (carry out only) and was hot and delicious. They do say they make their own crust but ours seemed suspiciously...like a frozen type crust. The edges were too perfect and it was hard, not chewy like most home made crusts are. But, the sauce was good, not too sweet and the cheese and toppings were great.More

We’d heard a lot of praise regarding their pizza but found it mostly average. Tasted better reheated the next day.

After reading all the reviews here and hearing that it is the best pizza in the UP, we had to try it. Due to COVID it's a take out only. We placed our order and were told it will be 45 min wait. OK, I...get it it's a small town and the best pizza, we'll wait. When we came to pick up our order, it turned out they forgot to put in our order. No apology. No rush on the order. No discount on the order. Another hour of waiting and they are trying to give our order to someone else. We finally get it and head to our airbnb. Mind you, there is no boxes for pizzas, they put it on a piece of cardboard and in the thin paper bag. Good luck if you order more than 2, you can only carry one pizza on your hand. Now finally sitting down to eat. The crust tasted like the cardboard it was on. Dry and tasteless. And they messed up our toppings. Total disappointment. Even our 8 yr old grandson didn't finish his cheese pizza. Whoever voted this place the best in Upper Peninsula, never tasted a decent pizza.More

Just like I said, a good thin crust pizza. Enough cheese without needing extra, toppings are high quality..nuff said, consistent product. They have pizza, foot ling hot dogs and wings..that's it..that's all you need; pizza is that good. Get the 14 inch and munch down....BearMore

The pizza tasted good, but they cut it up in really tiny pieces and then expect you to eat the melted cheese by hand. We asked for forks and they did give them to us. Very thin crust if you are looking for something chewy....Lots of beer but limited Craft Beer availability and none on tap.More

Home town visit with my family, always have to go back for the famous Riverside Pizza. Was just as delicious as the last time, great service friendly staff. If you visit Iron River it's a must stop.
