My wife and I stopped in and had 2 flights (8 - 5 oz. beers). Enjoyed each and every one of them. Great selection, high quality.... somebody really knows what they are doing. Queso dip and over all service was excellent as well.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will go back.

We just happened to be in the area saw this place and was really happy we stopped ! The place was real nice everyone was very friendly,The owner was super nice .The beer was good and service was good,If your in the area make this a stop !

Very good homemade pizza at a very good price. The service was good, although it's a fast food type service counter, whereas, you go to the counter to order.

Balto porter and Muttface IPA were takeaways. Heard super things on the pizza-had a bite of a riends -super crisp and good. Next time we'll get our own, Mug club looks interesting. Prices excellent

Very good sandwich, but I really liked their sodas. You have to order at the order line and they bring your food to you, it's a little different, but wasn't a negative.

I was looking for a brew pub to try while crossing Michigan on I96 and decided to skip Lansing and stop at Steele Street Brewing in Ionia based on their beer menu. I'm a Stout / IPA guy and Steele Street listed 5 or 6 beers on their menu that interested me. I told my wife that they probably didn't have all of the beers listed on the web site on tap, but it's worth a try. I was wrong - they had them all. All of the beers I tried were top notch. I'm somewhat of a beer snob (OK, I'm a big beer snob), so finding one or two that I like is rare. My wife had a glass of Peach/Apricot Chardonnay and thought it was excellent (also crafted at Steele Street). Pete, the owner, stopped by the table and we had an extended discussion on brew pubs, beer and his affinity for making bread and pizza dough using a yeast strain that he has propagated for years. We ordered a pizza and it too was great. Don't miss this place!

It has a friendly staff and is a very clean establishment. They offer a wide array of craft drinks and their pizza is fantastic, although on the small side.

Industrial setting, nice employees, friendly owners. Met friends one evening recently and had never been here but enjoyed the beer very much. Particular sandwich I ordered was ok, but the pizza looks like it would be my choice the next time I return!
Definitely "family friendly" and everyone seems to know everybody. Mug club price is reasonable, I think $50 forever....

Great beer. Great root beer. Delicious pizza. NOTHING to complain about. Worth a visit. Owners are friendly as is the clientele. Easy drive from Grand Rapids or Lansing. Wonderful way to spend a late afternoon.

Stopped in here for a few beers and dinner with a couple of friends. The bar tender was very friendly and gave use samples of any beer we wanted. Every one of the samples had great flavor and we were happy with our choice of beer to drink. If I lived local, I would defiantly join the mug club! We all ordered a different Panini which came with potato chips and we had no complaints. Reasonably priced food and beer. Negative - The hours of operation are not posted and the website does not have much information on it either.

The Pizza Bread with pesto dipping sauce, Margherita Pizza and Italian Panini are all fantastic! We also had and orange float and root beer float (both are homemade sodas) which were delicious. We've been here before and the beer is tasty! We will definitely be back!

Stopped in yesterday late afternoon for beer and a pizza. The weather was nice enough we were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the sunshine. I had the Michigan IPA and my wife had the Stout from a cask. All the beers we've had here have been well done. We had the classic Hawaiian pizza and it was delicious with a homemade sourdough crust. We chatted with the owners and were made to feel right at home. This is Ionia's only microbrewery and if you like beer and pizza this should be a good stop.
