The Mulefoot is now Hiram's Tavern and my husband and I have both visited a few times. The service improved greatly over the last 2 years and is now has some of the best waitstaff I've ever had. The food was fantastic-- the steak, sweet...More

Absolutely amazing! First class quality food and taste. The salads, filet and deserts were the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. Well worth the drive from Flint area. This was a makeup anniversary dinner after a disappointing experience at Rochester Chop House.

This is a trendy restaurant with excellent pork specialties. Unfortunately, it’s moving to the greater Detroit area where presumably there is more demand for farm-to-table fare of this quality and price. Plan on dropping about $100-150 for a couple of dinners, drinks, and an appetizer...More

Visited here for dinner one Saturday night with friends to try something new. Hailing from Clarkston, we have our share of really good restaurants but the Mulefoot Gastropub was comparable. We enjoyed the fresh trout special (served with a masala sauce that I actually enjoyed,...More

We drove out there from 16 and Jefferson (over an hour) because I've heard a lot about the restaurant (and saw the owners on Chopped). The food was good - certainly above average. However, I thought it was just too pricy. $34 for a steak?...More

My first visit was back in the fall and overall it was a good experience. I definitely think this is a place to go if your celebrating a special occasion. I love how everything is locally grown. The menu is very small and I’m a...More

Have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Very creative menu, including some excellent pork dishes. Also a very diverse beer selection to choose from. It’s nice that they use local suppliers for many of their menu items, and for the restaurant decor.

The food was amazing and I am already planning to head there again soon to share this experience with others. I had the chef's selection of pork from the Mulefoot pigs that are raised locally. It was by far the best piece of meat I've...More

Eight of us went here because I saw the brother chefs -- the Romines -- on FoodNetwork TV about a year ago and knew we would be in the area after a wedding in Flint this October. The place is so interesting with passion-driven art...More

For the Mulefoot I would say jeans are fine but bump up your style just a touch with a nicer shirt. It's not a full dress up place; but a t-shirt is probably a little under-dressed. The servers are in a business casual type... More
