Great atmosphere

Our 2nd time here, we didn't eat the 1st time. The martinis are top notch. Sunday's the oysters are $1 each, I had 6 of them, just delicious. We ordered ont roasted garlic pizza and one pepperoni pizza. They brought out the pepperoni and a Greek pizza. I didn't notice, and had a piece of the Greek, it was really good. Our server came over and told me it was the wrong pizza. He took it away a returned with the garlic pizza. It was even better. We finished our meal and drinks. The manager came to us, asked if we wanted the Greek to go as obviously they can't sell it. So we took it, we ordered 2 pizzas, and took home 1.5 pizzas! To sum it up. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Highly recommended.

Great meal

On a Saturday, we did not make reservations, and almost paid for our mistake. The Silver Pig is small inside, and we were lucky to get there early enough to get two seats at the bar. But the time we left, there was definitely a wait. We went with the small plate options, and had some excellent food. This, pared up with a wonderful modern atmosphere, made for a great experience (truffle popcorn, anyone??). The Silver Pig also had a great cocktail menu. The staff here was also very friendly, and despite being busy, they were very attentive to us at the bar. I definitely can't wait to return.

Excellent pizza, pricey wines.

Very small eatery. Four of us ordered two pizzas which were excellent. The pizzas on the menu are fairly creative. Only one type of salad was offered. We passed on the creative kale-quinoa salad. When the bill came we felt gouged by the glass of wine prices. There was some miscommunication with our server. The cost for one glass of wine was the same as the cost for one pizza. Wine $13 - Pizza $13

Interesting cocktails and tasty snacks

If you find yourself in Howell, MI (and it's got a pretty cute downtown - ask them about "Witches Night"), check out the Silver Pig. They have an interesting cocktail menu with some innovative and surprising options in addition to high quality staples and a decent wine list. The food tends toward hearty bar snacks but everything is tasty and suitable for sharing. If you want a more substantial meal, the steak house on the corner is connected so you get the same bar and a more substantial menu.

My wife and I went there to meet up with a old friend and his new lady friend, sometimes awkward. Not there,what a cool and inviting atmosphere, the staff was very informative about the food and the unusual drinks. The pizza and fish tacos were great and priced very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this for any kind of evening out.

Nice Experience

Wife and I visited for Happy Hour. Very good drink specials, and the appetizers were excellent. Also served nice truffle oil popcorn gratis with drinks. We will definitely return

Small Plates Equal Reasonable Cost

The cost for two dinners was $57. Each of us had two small plates and one alcoholic drink. The small plates were, well, small portions. They might look appetizer-sized to some who are looking for a large dinner. My fondue and lime chip trio was flavorful. I left satisfied, but if you are really hungry you will have to order more than two plates or come on $1 oyster night and gorge yourself. It seems as though all items are made to order. The orders for our group of 9 adults came randomly. A small plate came for some, but not for others. When the final plates came for two persons, the rest of us were finished. The kitchen might need more staff.

We made our first trip here rscently, and it was so good we went back with brother and wife for happy hour. They have multiple drinks plus wine and beer at $5, very good, and we sampled multiple small plates from the happy hour menu as well as regular menu, all very good. Then, for dessert, we shared their chocolate pot a creme and their famous carrot cake. My, these were delicious. We are planning a return visit for $1 oysters on Monday, and half off pizzas on Tuesday. Enjoy!

Fun, Small Plates!

We recently had the opportunity to visit The Silver Pig and we've been there three times since. Every time has been just great. My husband loves the oysters. The bartender has been the same woman for all our visits and she is really nice and knowledgeable! We had the Margherita pizza, which was very fresh. If you are looking for giant plates of food, this is not your place. If you are looking for different options of smaller plates, then give this place a try! It is fun being able to try and share several different items during your visit.

A Chance encounter

We took the drive out to Howell and stumbled upon The Silver Pig. Our waitress Bree was fantastic! She was training another waitress and we had a wonderful experience. They also have a happy hour that runs until 7 PM. The small plates were quite tasty. We plan on trying their other place-Diamonds Steak & Seafood next-door next time. It was our anniversary so our waitress gave us a piece of carrot cake to go and I have to say that was quite delicious! Mad, I had to share it with my husband. So good! 👍👍👍👍👍

Great dinner spot!

We went here last night and had a great time! The shrimp ceviche, oysters and pizza were great! Great place to share multiple dishes. Service was excellent and the cocktails were great too! Will definitely go back

I came to the Silver Pig expecting to chose between ribs or pulled pork, two of my favorites. As it turned out they had neither. It is a “small plates” restaurant, offering a large selection of choices. We had a few of them including some tasty thin crust pizza. A good variety and well prepared. I went away happy but still a little hungry. Maybe if they did have pulled pork or ribs ....

So Worth It

You have to try this place! The small plates were out of this world. Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered a few plates twice because one just wasn’t enough. Staff was polite, friendly, professional and always attentive. Great atmosphere, smaller venue but it adds to the ambiance. I wish I lived closer to go more often. Don’t let the name fool you, it’s a diamond in the rough!

Perfect piggy

Dinner and drinks with family. We started with cocktails and their East Coast oysters and oysters Rockefeller. Then tried 3 different of their pizzas, and finished with their carrot cake and chocolate pot. I'd highly recommend for a night out.
